光阴似箭，日月如梭，一个学期就这么无声无息地溜走了。在这个崭新、有趣而又富有挑战的学期里，我收获颇丰、受益匪浅。学校是我的第二个家，它带给我温暖。在学校，我更是获得了知识、拓展了视野、增长了才干。在这个大家庭里，我和同学们互帮互助、团结友爱。
这段奇幻的旅程还得从军训时说起，那时候我一走进校园，就断定我的人生会很美好。这里不仅风景美、设备美，就连人也“美”。走在校园的小路上，随便碰到一个人都会对你亲切的说声：“你好!”而我也会面带微笑的回敬一句：“你好！”人与人之间不就应该是这样的么？从那时到现在，我从一个什么都不会做的黄毛小子完美蜕变成一个能说会做的男子汉！生活方面也能自己照顾自己，社交方面也有很大的改善，从以前的腼腆成为现在的开朗、大方男孩。我不求最好，只求更好的自己。
我们的教师团队也是一流的，老师们个个都很年轻。语文老师教会我生活处处有语文;数学老师教会我数学是位朋友；英语老师教会我英语是一种艺术；政治老师教会我如何为人处事；历史老师教会我历史一去不复返的道理；体育老师教会我运动对我们的健康有益。老师是我们人生道路上最重要的人，他们燃烧自己，照亮了我们。和以前相比，我的学习态度端正了，学习目标更明确了。渐渐地，我感受到同学之间对我的真切关心，是我冰封已久的心灵瞬间融化，春暖花开。同学之间充满友爱“兄弟”之间充满仁义。我收获了满满一车的友谊，它使我明白没有朋友的人就像一株小草，独自躺着……更让我明白了朋友请，一生伴！

For e.g., we can stick the word 'fridge' on the fridge door so that each time when we open it, we get reminded of how to say it and spell it. Sentences will come in later when we have enough words to work with. Also, grammar rules can be learnt while we listen to others speak. It's also important to speak more. Even if we make errors, we shouldn't stop ourselves from speaking up because it is great practice. If we can have a penpal from overseas then it will help us even more.
