Yao Ming is a famous basketball player. In 2000, he was selected as the No. 1 rookie by Houston Rockets in NBA. Soon he became the starting center player of Rockets. During his career, he got nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. He was also the all-star game player.
He brought basketball and NBA to a whole young generation of China. More and more people became basketball fans.
After Yao Ming retired from NBA. He bacame a boss of the CBA association. He is still working hard on basketball off the court.
