命题作文，一般是指出题者给出一个既定的题目，要求应试者根据这个给定题目进行写作。它包含事件，人物，场面等要素。
从命题内容上来看
近年来全命题作文的命题内容呈现出丰富多彩的倾向：或贴近考生生活关注个体成长，或启迪考生思考人生哲理，或引导考生聚焦社会热点……丰富多样的命题，给考生作文的选材提供了更为广阔的空间。
从形式上来看
