A Trip
I went hiking to a mountain with my friends last summer.
It was a good trip at the beginning but something unexpected happened on the half way. One of my friends suddenly felt a terrible pain in his stomach and he wouldn't't move any further. Nobody knew what to do.
One girl tried to call her mum with her mobile phone but there was no signal in the mountain area. Luckily we brought a tent with us. We put it up and let him rest in it. He took some medicine. Then he drank some water, and ate some food. After a while, he felt much better and we walked on. The buildings in Xiamen University are great combianations of eastern and western cultures. The golden sand on the beach and the speed boat make me feel like I'm in heaven. I also had some local specialties and savored their distinctive flavors. It's an unforgettable trip.
Travelling is in my blood. I always think that people living in big city should spend sometime in peaceful places like Xiamen, because it offers you a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle, and you have time for yourself to critalize your thoughts. I have been to many interesting places. But I will never forget the trip to Qing with my parents last year.
We took a plane to Qing last summer holiday. We spent threes days there. We stayed at a four-star hotel. On the first day, we went to the beautiful beach. We played sandcastles and collected shells first, then we had a swim in the sea. We enjoyed ourselves very much. On the second day, we went to climb the Mountain Tai. We were tired but we felt proud of ourselves when we got to the top of the mountain. On the third day, we went shopping in the largest shopping mall in Qing. And We had a nice meal there.
