众所周知,写作是初中英语教学中的重要部分之一,它不仅能够考验学生们的英语知识点的积累程度,更是学生们英语综合运用能力的一个体现。此外,作为一门语言性的学科,英语对学生们的语言综合应用能力的培养要求极高,故而,抓好学生们的英语作文教学是每一位初中英语教师不容推卸的责任,也是初中初中英语教学的趋势所在。
【关键词】初中英语;写作教学;高效性;综合能力
新课标课程改革对初中英语教学提出了更高的教学要求,即要求学生们必须掌握英语听、说、读、写四项基本技能。写作教学作为四项基本技能教学之一,于初中英语教学而言,其重要性可见一斑。英语写作,即将相应的词汇、句子以及段落有机组合成一篇文章,可见,在英语写作过程中,学生们词汇的积累、句型的掌握以及一定的逻辑组织能力都至关重要。在本文中,笔者将结合自身的英语写作教学经验,从学生们写作语感的培养、学生写作熟练度的训练以及教师对学生英语写作的评价这三个方面对初中英语写作教学策略作以下简要分析。
一、背诵范文,提升学生的英语写作语感
众所周知,背诵范文是学生们英语写作语感培养的关键所在,它能够潜移默化地影响着学生们的写作风格,同时还能扩大学生们的英语知识点的累积,从而达到写作时一气呵成的效果。那么,教师该如何引导学生们背诵英语范文呢?就笔者而言,首先,教师应当对范文中的相应句式以及高频词汇进行讲解,让学生们在对范文有一定理解的基础之上增强对范文的记忆,从而达到良好的背诵效果,其次,教师可以固定抽查学生们对英语范文的背诵情况,逐步培养学生们良好的英语作文学习态度。例如,在教学人教版初中英语七年级下册unit8《Isthereapostofficenearhear?》时,鉴于本单元重点讲解问路时所运用的相关知识点,笔者便让学生们在学习完本单元知识点之后写一篇介绍某标志性建筑的地理位置的作文。其中,有位学生们写了一篇以自己家为中心的邮局、银行以及便利店等地点的地理位置介绍作文,并很好地运用了“first……then……finaly……”等过渡词,使得整篇文章变得连贯得体,此外,该生还运用了不少的连接词以完善文章的连贯性。于是笔者将该生的作文作进一步修改之后便将其作为范文,并要求其他学生们对其加以背诵记忆。如此一来,学生们便可以在背诵范文的过程中逐渐取长补短,进而提升自身的英语写作能力。
二、强化训练,促使达到熟能生巧的目标
写作训练是提升学生们的英语写作能力的核心步骤,正所谓熟能生巧。在初中英语写作教学中,不少学生们由于刚刚接触英语,对英语这一语言的掌握程度不够便怯于写作,从而导致学生们的写作能力难以得到锻炼,进而陷入恶性循环之中。为了打破这一恶性循环,教师们除了要鼓励学生们敢于写作之外,还应当为学生们制定相应的英语写作训练计划,进而实现“质的飞跃”。那么,教师应当如何制定写作训练计划呢?笔者在此将学生们的英语写作过程分为三个阶段———初级阶段、中级阶段以及高级阶段。在初级阶段,教师们应当可以让学生们每周背诵一篇范文并模仿范文写一篇英语文章;在中级阶段,教师则应当每周给学生们一个话题,让学生们依照话题自主写作,数量维持在1-2篇;在高级阶段,教师则应当让学生们做到“每天一练,一周一写”,即每天用英语写一篇随笔练练笔,每周写一篇正规英语文章。如此循序渐进,学生们英语写作能力的提升便指日可待。例如,在教学人教版七年级英语时,鉴于学生们大多都是刚刚接触英语,对英语这门语言的掌握不多,其综合运用能力不足,即上文所述的英语学习的初级阶段,于是笔者在教学学生们英语习作时便采取了如下训练措施:首先,笔者让学生们每日晨读的时候大声朗读英语教材的精选文章,并背诵其中的重点段落,同时,笔者每周还会挑选一篇优秀范文让学生们在课余时间进行背诵,接着笔者每周抽查部分学生课文与范文的背诵情况,除此之外,笔者还要求学生们每周都要模仿教材课文或者范文写一篇文章并上交。一来可以检查学生们一周时间以来的作文及文章的学习情况,二来也能督促学生们坚持训练英语写作,一举二得。
三、多元评价,增强学生们的英语写作信心
教师评价是英语写作教学中必不可少的环节之一,一方面,教师的评价能够及时将学生们的写作情况反馈给学生们,帮助学生们进一步修改自己所写作文;另一方面,教师对学生们所写作文及时评价还能帮助提高学生们在英语写作方面的积极性,从而促使学生们认真对待英语写作。故而,教师要充分重视对学生作文的评价,帮助学生们在充分认识自己写作方面的不足之后加以改进,进而提升自身的习作能力。例如,笔者在教学人教版八年级上册unit6《I′mmoreoutgoingthanmysister》这一单元时,曾给学生们部置过这样一个写作任务:写一篇描写自己某一家庭成员的英语作文,并适当运用本单元所学知识点。其中一位学生描写了自己的弟弟,她的文章中用了本单元所学的一些关于性格描写、外貌描写的词汇来形容自己的弟弟,并适当地运用了比较级来比较自己和弟弟的一些性格特点。但是文章中却又一些小错误,例如“Iverylovemybrother.”这一句子便是典型的中文式英语,于是笔者在评价该生文章的时候,首先指出了文章中的一些亮点并给予了一定的表扬,同时也对文章中的一些小错误及时指出并引导其进行纠正。总之,一篇优秀的英语作文不仅是学生们英语知识点的累积与荟萃,更是学生们的语言综合运用能力的一种体现。在初中英语写作教学中,教师应当从学生们写作语感的培养、学生写作熟练度的训练以及对学生英语写作的评价这三个方面全面做好学生们的英语写作教学工作,唯有如此,才能从真正意义上提升学生们的英语水平。
