㈠ 四年级下半年英语口语大赛精美作文
今天，学校举行了一场英语口语总决赛，由六年级各班挑选出来的六十位选手参加比赛。我是班里四个代表之一。比赛前，我们进行了培训，也做了充分的准备，所以信心十足，相信自己能够取得好成绩！
上午九点钟，在大礼堂，我们的比赛正式开始了。一共分三个环节，第一个环节是评委老师报单词，选手们依次上台拼出单词，然后统计对的个数和得分，前四十名进入第二环节进行比赛。第一环节全是简单的，我们班四位选手都顺利进入了第二环节参加比赛，我们击掌为我们自己鼓起加油。台下班里的同学们也响起热烈的掌声。第二环节是阅读题，每位选手随机抽取题目，然后上台在十五秒钟内朗读完毕。这是挺有难度的，因为阅读题出现了一些我们没教过的单词，而有些同学因为紧张，连会的单词都念错了，所以第二环节又淘汰了二十人，只剩二十位选手进入最后的第三环节。经过前两轮比赛，我们班四个人就只剩我一个闯入最后环节了，我倍感责任重大，我想我要好好表现，为班级争光！第三环节是用英文做自我介绍，这反而让我感觉难度不大，因为之前做过练习和准备，我胸有成竹地流利朗读，博得了评委老师的点头赞许！
比赛最后，我获得了第一名，老师和同学们都为我鼓掌祝贺，我心里也美滋滋的。我一定继续努力，争取更大的进步！
㈡ 全国英语创新作文大赛 口语比赛
赛场规则
【听力、作文比赛】
1.8:00准时入场，选手凭本参赛资格证和身份证（必须同时持有两证）进入赛场，对号入座后将参赛资格证、身份证放在桌面桌号粘贴处，以备查对。
2.8:15后不得入场，比赛结束前15分钟内不能交卷退场。
3.只准带钢笔、水性笔、铅笔、橡皮等考试必备文具，开考后不得互相借用。不得携带书籍、笔记、电子词典和纸张等其它物品入场。
4.比赛铃响后开始答题。听力答题卡使用2B铅笔填涂。作文试卷纸使用蓝、黑色墨水钢笔或水性笔填写，用其他颜色笔、铅笔或在草稿纸上答题无效。
5.不得要求监考人员解释试题，如遇试卷字迹模糊或答题纸污损等问题，可举手询问。
6.保持赛场安静，不许交头接耳、左顾右盼、严禁偷看他人试题答案或交换试卷。赛场内禁止吸烟。
7.不得在装订线以内书写任何内容（如姓名、考号、草稿等），一经发现、考卷作废。
8.选手交卷后不得在赛场附近逗留、谈论。比赛结束，选手应立即停止答卷，并将试卷扣放在桌面上，经监考人员允许后方可离场，不得将试卷或草稿纸带出赛场。
【口语比赛】
选手按照准参赛资格证所示口语比赛侯考时间，凭参赛资格证进入侯考区，根据赛场工作人员的指示等候比赛（口语比赛流程详见下一页《口语比赛流程图》）。
【其它规则】
1.尊重赛场工作人员，接受监考人员的监督和检查，不得无理取闹，不得辱骂威胁、报复赛场工作人员。比赛中如有违反赛场纪律者，监考人员应制止、教育、直至取消比赛资格。
2.严禁将手机、呼机和带存储功能的电子及通讯设备带入赛场，发现使用，按作弊处理。
3.填写考卷上的姓名、参赛资格证、身份证号以参赛资格证上打印的为准，若填写错误，考卷作废。
4.不得私自更改本参赛资格证内容，若私自修改，一经发现，取消比赛资格。

注意：1、口语比赛过程中，选手应避免过长停顿和咳嗽等声音；
2、口语考试时间为13日下午的选手，请在作文比赛结束后迅速离开比赛区域。

When my wife left this world, I chose to travel in Antigua looking for a peaceful place to rest my old body. Not quite old and weak, I felt I wanted something more than the usual hotel room with 24-hour room service.

This was the best decision I had ever made, as there was plenty to do, plenty to see and lots of lovely restaurants to visit. Antigua has to be one of the loveliest places on earth to spend a holiday. The bright blue sea and the endless blue around the beach areas proved to be an excellent place for me to spend the long afternoons.
I had to hurry to do what I wanted to do before the holiday came to an end. I managed to visit the Sugar Mill and Shirley Heights on my last two days and yet found myself wondering whether I could extend for a few more days.
I rented a boat and came home after a day’ sailing, refreshed, looking forward to dinner. Everything is so pleasant on these beautiful islands, swept by the trade winds and warmed by the sun for so many summer months. The food just tasted better to me, perhaps because I was having such a great holiday. There was always someone to have a drink with---- that’s what I liked most
