㈢ 英语中Mr,Mrs,Ms,Miss这四个怎么区分

英语中Mr，Mrs，Ms，Miss四个单词都是表示对他人的称呼，区分这四者要看其使用对象：

1、Miss首次出现在1645年《约翰·伊夫林日记》中，当时miss一词的意思是“a concubine;a kept mistress”，即小妾，被供养的女人。

20年后，萨缪尔·佩皮斯第一次将这个词第一个字母m大写用在女孩或未婚妇女的名字前面。差不多在同一时期，约翰·德莱顿第一次将Miss用作称呼性用语，特指女孩或未婚女士。

2、Mr是master的缩写，它指的是家庭中的男主人。而它的缩写形式Mr. 则仅仅指男士或先生，并不表明其婚姻状况。

3、Ms最早出现于1949年马里奥·佩的《语言的故事》一书中。从构词法上讲， Ms可能是Miss和Mrs.两个词的混合物，所以在意思上Ms既可以用作对未婚女子的称呼，也可以用作对已婚女子的称呼。

后来逐渐变为当不清楚对方是否结婚的情况下，可以使用Ms。

4、Mrs.是mistress的缩写。在中世纪英语中，mistress这个词有很多意思，其中的一些沿用至今，例如女主人，女神，某一行业的女专家，女教师等等。

Mistress是指“具有一定专业知识和能力的女人”，它也用作对未婚和已婚妇女的礼貌称呼。到1600年左右,mistress的意思逐渐缩小为对已婚妇女的称呼。

英文中的称呼表达

1、在一些正式场合，比如商务会议中，除非别人提出如何称呼他，一般用正式称呼，比如想要提醒对方，表示强调时可以说："Excuse me, Sir" 或 "Pardon me, Madam/Ma'am."。

2、在称呼老师时，一般不把某某老师说成是Teacher XXX，而是同样根据具体情况称呼为先生，女士。Teacher一词一般不会单独用来称呼，在中国课堂上会出现的“Good morning, teacher”其实不是很常见的表达。

3、在写信件时一般不用收件人的名字（除姓氏之外）。用Miss或Mrs称呼女人是不合适的，因为你不知道她是否结婚。
