日常口语中老外会用一些我们从书本上从不学的口语化单词来表达他们的感受，下面的例子是跟一些老外聊天发现的：
1.老外有时会用nope代替no,用yep代替yes,听起来有一处慢条斯理的感觉
2.老外对某个东西比较午觉时会用bravo来代替我们通常用的good,great,或wonderful
3.bingo有时也可以用来表示“感觉很好”
4.give me five在口语中有击掌之意，常表示和对方有同感
5.Jesus Christ!或是Christ就可以代替我们常用的dear me和my god
6.有一句骂人话bullshit,如果觉得不雅的话，尤其对于女同志，通常会用shoot来代替
7.美国口语中一般称警察为cop,而不是policeman
8.dead president可不是死总统的意思，而是美钞的诙谐说法
9.有时会用cross one's heart表示发誓，是一种很形象的说法
10.pull one's leg可不是拖某人的腿的意思，而是开某人的玩笑
