What is a supermarket? In the dictionary, a supermarket is a large self-service department store. Some supermarkets have two floors. Nowadays many people don’t have much time to walk from one shop to another, so people choose to go to the supermarket in order to save time and money.
What’s more, if you don’t want to buy anything, you can just come and look around in the supermarket. It’s a good place to have a walk.
