不建议给初三学生看英语原文书。
初中高中阶段以记牢基础词汇，和学习完所有的语版法为主，熟读课文权和老师布置的资料就好，做到这些就很了不起了。
有特殊的培养目标，或者能投入特别多的课外时间的话，可以更超前的学习课本，另外可以看一些带有中英文字幕的电视剧电影，同步培养听说方面的语感。
重要的事情多说一遍，课本语法很重要。第二语言的学习没有母语的环境，所以前期还是靠的死记硬背知识点。等到高中阶段学完基本的语法点并掌握后，才有扩大阅读的基础。
