在北京炎复热的晌午里，刘制伟没睡多久就起床了。母亲从厨房里端出午饭，刘伟用右脚夹住勺子，将韭菜炒蛋和着米饭往嘴里送。
吃过饭后，他开始弹奏《梦中的婚礼》，用脚。用脚弹钢琴与用手类似，许多时候腕部需要悬空。一般人用手弹钢琴，能将手指撑开到8度，刘伟的脚趾经过训练能张到5度，需要更多的移动来弥补不足的跨度。
他的房间里贴着周杰伦的大幅海报。“我的理想是做一流的音乐制作人”，刘伟说。
最初的梦想
刘伟出生于1987年，上小学的时候，正是中国足球职业化的肇始，成为职业球员是他的理想。
然而，一切想象在10岁的一天戛然而止。他已无法完整地回忆那天到底发生了什么。
“怎么触电的?其实我自己是记不起来了，我的这部分记忆已经丢失。”
醒过来的时候，他已经躺在了医院的病床上。刚开始，他不认为这是一件多严重的事情，“不就是截肢吗，好了再接上不就行了？”脱离生命危险之后，刘伟被告知，他永远失去了双臂，“当时我的脑袋一片空白，傻了”。
在医院做康复的那段时间，他遇到了一位同样失去双手的病人。“他能自己吃饭、刷牙、写字，而且事业上也非常成功，他教了我很多”。
