我以前喜欢看疯狂英语原声版，那个就像杂志，不过有很多那种描写的文章，写作文很有用。
其实不用特别找什么，到了高中学完了英语语法就基本没的了么，有时候学校订的什么英语周报的阅读你只要仔仔细细看都可以找到很多真的很好的句子。
不过看这些杂志，看你的要求，觉得你看，头可能会很烦，因为你说你可能看不懂，就会不停看中文，后头可能干脆要么看中文要么就不看了。既然要看英语杂志，你手边必须放的是一本牛津字典，多翻翻字典，查到的生词，除非你真的记忆力很好，我觉得你不可能背完。一切只是一个积累过程，慢慢来。
针对作文，你就注意一下句型，建议你英文中文同时勾画。切记，不要太花！太花了你找不到重点。多利用周围的空处，贴贴小纸条，书面稍稍整洁会让你有看下去的欲望。

当今社会的竞争如此的激烈、残酷，我们每个人都在为自己的一个位子而苦苦打拼。在这个打拼的过程中，有的人上升，有的人却下降，直至最后潦倒。当每个人都怀揣希望站在事业的起跑线上时，我相信，我们的憧憬都是一样的，我们对未来的期许也是一样的。但是，为什么在跑步的过程中，我们的结局却不一样呢？由于费拉尔·凯普谱写的《没有任何借口》对此作出了最好的诠释：成功和失败看起来似乎天壤之别，但促成它们形成的原因，也许就是一些小小的细节，小小的习惯，比如：常常为自己没有完成的事情而寻找借口。“要成功，就不要给自己寻找任何借口”这是这本书给我们最大的启迪。
“没有任何借口”是美国西点军校200年来奉行的最重要的行为准则。它强化的是每一位学员想尽办法去完成任何一项任务，而不是为没有完成任务去寻找借口，哪怕是看似合理的借口，他体现的是一种完美的执行能力，一种服从诚实的态度，一种负责敬业的精神，其核心是敬业、责任、服从、诚实。

是呵，工作就是不找任何借口地去执行！但这并不代表我们只是执行任务的机器。我们是鲜活的、富有思想的、情感丰富的人。我们工作时，并不是像机器那样按照指定程序进行流水性进展，而是在接受指令后，明确工作的重要性及目标与完成时间，考虑应该采取何种方式作为完成工作的方法然后，按照既定的步骤进行处理。这个过程中，首先需要解决的是执行人员的思维方法问题。如果我们在企业中（这不是军队）一味强调执行而不注重对执行人员的心理分析，有可能让执行结果变得非马非象。
思维方法，其实就是思维惯性与工作习惯。当我们将所有对事态发展有影响的思维及工作方法持久地加以重复时，习惯也就悄然形成了。工作时，我们的大脑总是按照惯性搜索最近使用与最常使用的信息，并引起外显的条件反射。借口，有着润物细无声的渗透力与温水煮青蛙的韧性，也有着铜墙铁壁似的顽固性，正是因循了人类思维的这种特性，肆无忌惮，以致于让许多人都成了它的阶下囚。
可能有许多人会说他并不希望如此，但不知道怎样才能克服借口的漫延。就此，我们试着结合借口的各项属性来谈谈解决的办法：
第一、借口总是在拖延时间、推卸责任
对一件事情，你完全有把握将它完成得很出色，但是由于惰性，你不停地对自己说“再等一会儿”、“等一等”，时间就在你等的过程中慢慢溜走，当你发现时，却又对自己懊恼不已。对此，我们应该首先树立起正确的人生观与价值观，把握清楚自己的奋斗方向并制定一个相对中短期的目标，并为之而努力奋斗，这有利于你在找借口的同时与目标加以权衡，并马上行动以驱赶借口。
第二、不要让推卸责任成为习惯
也许你会否定这种看法：推卸责任可以和习惯联系在一块吗？有这么严重吗？是的，正是这种经常性的习惯在影响你的潜意识，你的潜意识进一步地影响着你的习惯行为。所以，我们应该加强自己的责任感与主动性，并让主动性与责任感带着我们驶向更为宽广的领域，尽情舒展与充实自己。
第三、让认真工作成为你的习惯
首先，让工作成为你的爱好，这样，因为有爱，所以你会想方法对所爱之物做出贡献。其次，工作给予了我们生活的保障、心智的发展与自我的完善，也给予了我们对未来的憧憬、奋斗的激情与灵感的原动力。所以，我们有必要将它视为珍爱之物，并将它恪守成习惯。
第四、让行动与全力以赴见证我们的优良习惯

个人认为，英语的学习归根到底就在于2个词：一是坚持，二是兴趣。
怎么样坚持？就是要一天学一点，一天进步一点，紧紧咬住，不要荒废。而在学英语的各个环节中，无论听说读写，如果单词量不足的话，就会感觉寸步难行，因此背单词是一个绕不过去的中心环节。最好就是给自己规定个短期目标，一天要记多少个单词，完成为止。也许学其他的科目可能还有捷径可以走，但要学好英语真的没有捷径。有不少朋友问我，怎么样才能快速学好英语？我都只能摇头，没有办法，只能坚持：读，听，看，背，除此之外别无他法。不过，相比于其它科目，学英语也有一个优势，就是不需要整块的时间，我们可以在排队等候的时候、在其它零碎的闲暇时间里面，记上几个英语单词或知识点，既利用了时间，又填补了空闲，也不失为一举两得。
但背单词毕竟是枯燥的，这就需要一种激发自己兴趣的办法。俗话说兴趣是最好的老师。这种兴趣不单单从考试的角度出发，而是通过对英语的熟练和语感越来越好，逐渐体会到它音韵和形式的美，从而产生更好地掌握英语的愿望，对英语的兴趣自然会水涨船高的。比如，可以玩玩英语游戏，看看英语MTV或英语原声电影，参加英语沙龙，或者到英文网站阅读英文新闻等。由于英语统考的时候不需要考听和说，我们从事医疗工作的，平时一般也缺乏听说英语的机会，因此我是以阅读为主来提高自己的英语兴趣和水平的。可以阅读的英文学习资料非常多，主要是要根据自己的水平选择适合的材料，以读起来有点吃力，但不影响对整篇的理解为适宜的难度。在有不懂的生词存在时仍然能够领会文章的意思，这是我们必须训练出来的能力。当你发现英语也成为你通向丰富知识的路径时，你自然而然就会体验到驾驭这门语言的乐趣。
在英语统考的时候，第一卷是选择题，其中语法和情景对话的单选题考的是知识点，我认为对于这部分关键是要快，即快速做出判断，不必钻牛角尖。阅读理解是得分大户，考的是整体的理解，我觉得在阅读理解上多花一点时间来斟酌相对比较值得。第二卷是翻译和作文，虽然只有30分，但如果拿不到18分以上，即使全卷过60分也要被判为不合格。做汉译英的题最害怕的是被个别词卡住了，这个时候，就要避免在一个词上空耗时间，而是尽快找个意义近似的词或词组来代替。另外就是作文的问题。短时间内提高英语作文能力，最有效的办法就是背熟若干篇范文，然后在考试时用题材相似的范文的格式和句型去套。但我认为平时多练习英语写作还是很重要的，最好每个星期写一两篇，除了训练作文这一块外，对提高汉译英的能力，对英文语感和兴趣的培养也大有裨益。
以上是我个人学习英语的一点心得体会。大家在学习上都是久经考验的好手，每人都有自己的独门功夫。但愿我的方法能够再带给大家一点帮助。

Nothing to worry about
The rough road across the plain soon became so bad that we tired to get Bruce to ddrive back to the village we had come from. Even thought the road was littered with boulders and pitted with holes, Bruce ws not in the least perturbed. Glancing at his map, he informed us that the next village was a mere twenty miles away. It was not that Bruce always underestimated difficulties. He simply had no sense of danger at all. No matter the conditions were, he believed that a car should be driven as fast as it could possibly go.
As we bumped over the sty track, we swerved to avoid large boulders. The wheels scooped up stones which hammered ominously under the car. We felt sure that sooner or later a stone would rip a hole in our petrol tank or damage the engine. Because of this, we kept looking back, wondering if we were leaving a trail of oil and petrol behind us.
What a relief it was when the boulders suddenly disappeared, giving way to a stretch of plain where the only obstacles were clomps of bushes. But there was worse to come. Just ahead of us there was a huge fissure. In response to renewed pleadings, Bruce stopped. Though we all got out to examine he fissure, he remained in the car. We informed him that the fissure extended for fifty yards and was two feet wide and four feet deep. Even this had no effect. Bruce went into a low gear and drove at a terrifying speed, keeping the front wheels astride the crack as he followed its zigzag course. Before we had time to worry about what might happen, we were back on the plain again. Bruce consulted the map once more and told us that the village was now only fifteen miles away. Our next obstacle was a shallow pool of water about half a mile across. Bruce charged at it, but in the middle, the car cae to a grinding halt. A yellow light on the dashboard flashed angrily and Bruce cheerfully announced that there was no oil in the engine!
