原文讲到了“language skills”、“communication skills”，是不是“speeches”就不对呢？不是，speech不仅指演讲，还可以表示“说话”这一能力，这叫做“换个说法”，而A选项近似度很高，却有“篡改”之嫌，Express≠发泄，confusing≠anger。也许此例说服力不强，但还是可以体现考试的逻辑。其他的例子我也懒得打了，你明白这个意思就行。
②扩大范围
叙述不完整，以偏概全均属此类，举个典型例子（特易错）
原文：NASA is scheled to launch a satellite for monitoring solar activity called SDO,which will take images of the Sun that are 10 times cleaner than the most advanced televisions available.
题：According to the passage，NASA will launch a satellite to_______
A.take images of the solar system.
B.keep track of solar activities.
A项几乎就是照抄的原文，怎么就不对了呢？看看题，照照片只是一个功能，如果A是对的，那发送一个照相机就行了嘛，何必发个卫星呢？所以是缩小范围，以偏概全。B项又是“换个说法”，这就是出题的一个特点：一句几乎照抄原文，但是是错的，正确答案则“换个说法”，进行了一番伪装！可能monitoring 这个词造成了一定影响，但monitor就是班长的意思，可引申为“监控”，英语阅读中有一定的生词是这样的，可以根据已知推断。
了解出题的思路，对做题能力的提升是有很大帮助的，包括数学理综都可以这样思考。
③无中生有
编造的选项往往十分符合常理，但认定为错误，其唯一理由就是：原文中没有。所以说要务必清除主观判断。
题：The wrong belief about money would result in_______
A.less happiness B.some illness
根据常识肯定该选A呀，但原文没这么说，答案就是这匪夷所思的B
题：The adopted children join in China tours to_______
A.visit their places of birth
B.get some idea of Chinese culture
有时候原文说的不够直接，有的同学就会自己去比较哪个选项“最合适”，这种做法就是错的。这两个选项都说得通，肯定有个是编的，这里就不讨论了。
