文章来源于An Outline of American History，《美国历史纲要》，是一本历史学方面的专著。考研翻译曾经在1999年考过历史学方面的话题，当初考的是历史学科建立方面的争论，关于历史研究方法论的。今年的考题与1999年那篇历史学文章的试题相比，简单太多。但是与2014年考研翻译试题相比，难度倒是上升了不小。

Within the span of a hundred years, in the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, a tide of emigration -one of the great folk wanderings of history-swept from Europe to America. 46) This movement, impelled (命题人改写为driven) by powerful and diverse(命题人删除了这两个词)motivations, built a nation out of a wilderness and, by its nature, shaped the character and destiny of an uncharted continent.

Of necessity, colonial America was a projection of Europe. In the meantime, thriving Spanish colonies had been established in Mexico, the West Indies, and South America. These travelers to North America came in small, unmercifully overcrowded craft. During their six- to twelve-week voyage, they subsisted on meager rations. Many of the ships were lost in storms, many passengers died of disease, and infants rarely survived the journey. Sometimes tempests blew the vessels far off their course, and often calm brought interminable delay.
To the anxious travelers the sight of the American shore brought almost inexpressible relief. Said one chronicler, "The air at twelve leagues' distance smelt as sweet as a new-blown garden." 可以考西医。来。。但专源硕不能报，往届生要医师证，应届生则要西医临床专业。你只能报科硕。。而科硕门事件，你知道，科硕不能考西医医师证。。换句话说，中转西，基本不可能。。跨考，难度不大。。毕竟都学过，只是学深学浅的问题。。西综，不看书，都可以考150。。努力点200+，英语只要过线，政治70，你就稳超国家线。。天津医科不是自主划线。意味着你理论上，可以去复试了。。
