全国英语四六级考试的考试时间为：每年6月份、12月份（每年时间略有不同）。

大学英语四级考试，即CET-4，College English Test Band 4的缩写，是由国家教育部高等教育司主持的全国性英语考试。考试的主要对象是根据教育大纲修完大学英语四级的在校专科生、本科生或研究生。大学英语四、六级标准化考试自1986年末开始筹备，1987年正式实施。

英语专业四级考试（TEM-4，Test for English Majors-Band 4），全称为全国高校英语专业四级考试。自1991年起由中国大陆教育部实行，考察全国综合性大学英语专业学生。

阅读理解

8. 2011年tem4（英语专四） 报名的时间、地点！

1、大一不可以报考专四，因为专四考试是英语专业学期第四学期（即大学英语初级阶版段学习）阶段测试权，只有第四学期才可以参加考试。专四和公四不是一个考试系统的，相互之间不影响，考试结果、考试时间都不冲突
2、报名是学校统一组织的，学校应有具备参加英语专业四级考试资格的专业和学生才能组织本校学生统一报考
3、tem4/8每年分别有一次考试，8级是在3月第一个周六上午；4级是在4月第三个周六上午
