这种句式加的是不定式，比如：all he did was sit/all you have to do is read/what he does is sniff around.

这两种都是可以用的，而且有一个有趣的现象，美语里面更喜欢I did was go to see David，英语里面更喜欢加to,I did was to go to see David.
