神马样的method ，disposing of patients 一个短语，method of （disposing of patients ）。这个句子than后面偶认为是状语，BY giving them 介词+ing 表示一种状态，定语从句what they are asking for 来修饰。。也就是可不可以理解为，是定从引导的状语，表示主语的method的状态
than前后的句子地位应该都是修饰作用的，所以偶认为不能用作单独的句子来分析，并且一定要找到 giving的主语，因为BY giving本身就是主语，
