社会人士不可以参加英语四六级考试。准确点说，目前情况是，非在校大学生是没有资格参加大学英语四六级考试的（简称CET）。

在校学生可以报考英语四六级

社会人员考报四六级是不可以的，在为这是专门为学生们准备的考试方式，具体有：

1、在校的本科生；

2、具有同等文化程度的大专生或硕士研究生经得学校同意后也可在本学校进行报名参加考试；

3、具有同等程度的读业余大学，比如夜大或函授生也可在学校的同意在学校进行报名考试。而且四六级考试只能是在自己所在的学校报名考试，不能跨校考的。
