One very likely scenario is that the problem of intense competition is to be deferred rather than solved, i.e. that it is carried onto the next level. If all the Bachelors are moving into master studies, then the job position competition may temporarily be calmed now, but start again in three years when they are graating as Masters, or five years later as Doctors.
