四级：
大学英语四级考试，即CET-4，College English Test Band 4的缩写，是由国家教育部高等教育司主持的全国性教学考试。考试的主要对象是根据教育大纲修完大学英语四级的在校大学本科生或研究生。
大学英语考试根据理工科本科和文理科本科用的两个《大学英语教学大纲》，由教育部（原国家教育委员会）高等教育司组织的全国统一的单科性标准化教学考试，分大学英语四级考试（CET-4）和大学英语六级考试（CET-6）两种。每年考试过后8月份或9月份公布成绩并颁发成绩单，根据教育部规定四六级考试不设置及格线，四级425分以上可以报考六级，所以大家普遍认为四六级的合格线为425分。英语四六级的总分为710分。报名时间CET全国英语四六级考试的考试时间为：每年6月份、12月份（每年时间略有不同）。
大学英语四、六级考试的原始分数在经过加权、等值处理后，参照常模转换为均值为500、标准差为70的常模正态分数。同时，四、六级考试不设及格线，考试合格证书改为成绩报告单。
四、六级考试单项分的报道分为四个部分，这四个部分以及各部分所占的分值比例分别为：英语四级各档的分数分布是：听力（35%）249分、阅读（35%）249分、综合（10%）70分、写作和翻译（20%）142分。

2. 大学英语四级翻译怎么训练

训练英语四级翻译可以加强语法结构、变通翻译、加强词汇、时态用法具体介绍如下：

1、加强语法结构：同时精选10篇左右文章(建议新概念3后30单元的)，细看，精看，涉及到每个词，结构，篇章来温习和锻炼自己长句，复杂句等的理解，同时逐步加快速度。

2、学会变通翻译：只要在规定时间内尽自己最大的努力把整篇文章的内容基本都翻译出来，最终一定能得到一个不错的分数。

3、加强词汇：四级翻译是将英语大纲中的4000+单词按照重要程度进行划分，有必考词、基础词、还有偶考词和超纲词。其中每个必考词汇下面都有好几个短语搭配，都是考试中常考的，也是对词汇的拓展和延伸，备考时间不够的话，可以酌情先记忆必考词部分。

4、注意时态语法：根据一些调查，发现同学们考试翻译时，容易一看到中文就马上翻译成英语，连前面的句子信息都省略不看，在此，我非常不赞同这个做法，前面的句子或短语包含的不只是信息也有时态之类的，如果直接上手写，那么也就是等于直接放弃这最好拿的得分点。

注意事项：

1、考试必备物品：准考证、身份证、学生证、2B铅笔、橡皮、圆珠笔或钢笔、手表、小刀、直尺（备用）等。为了避免遗漏，可以先列一个物品清单。

2、考前吃得清淡一些，以清爽可口、易消化为主。四级考前早饭一定要吃。
