任何人都是有尊严的，任何一个有道德教养的人都不会随意侮辱和伤害别人。你伤害了别人的尊严，换来的是他人的鄙视。人没有高低贵贱之分，关键就是把他人放在与我们平等的位置上，考虑对方的需求和感受，而不要盛气凌人。 维护保持他人的劳动成果更是对他人的尊重。常常看到有人在公共场所随手乱丢瓜皮果壳，随口吐痰，污染环境；常常看到刚刚清扫的教室里，没过多久，就到处是垃圾。这些不良习惯无意间也是对他人劳动的不尊重。

这时的我愣住了。有人因为他们（清洁工人）的职业、地位卑微而小看他们，又因为他们脏，一见到他们就四处回避。其实相比之下，他们又变得多么伟大。如果世上没有了清洁工人，那么，大街小巷上都积满了垃圾。到时，臭气冲天，地球就像一个垃圾堆那样，还美吗？地球能够这么美，他们是功不可没的。刚才那个清洁工人就是那样，在她感冒的时候，想到的却是大家的健康，而不是自己。有人总是用歧视的眼光看他们，说他们没用，可是他们没有怨言，依然认认真真地为我们清理垃圾。在这个雨天，在这不显眼的角落里，几乎没人会发现这位“城市美容师”，更没什么人来这赞扬她，但她依然在那个平凡的岗位上做出不平凡的成绩。她那种精神是十分令人敬佩的，也十分值得大家去学习的。
从那以后，我再也没见过她了，但他那种精神鼓舞着我。它告诉我，人活在世上，是为了为自己和大家做贡献的。
