The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double Fifth Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals, the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.
The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man, but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperor's court.
Unable to regain the respect of the emperor, in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan, the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.
Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan, their efforts are still commemorated today ring the Dragon Boat Festival.
端午節的由來
端午節，又稱為五五節，因為端午節是在農歷的五月五日，是三個重要的中國節慶之一，其他兩個分別是中秋節和農歷新年。
這個節日的由來是古代中國有一位博學多聞的官吏屈原，他是一位愛民而且又受到尊崇的官吏，但是由於一位充滿嫉妒的官吏陷害，從此在朝廷中被皇帝所冷落。由於無法獲得皇帝的重視，屈原在憂郁的情況下投汨羅江自盡。
由於對屈原的愛戴，汨羅江畔的居民匆忙的劃船在江內尋找屈原，並且將米丟入汨羅江中，以平息汨羅江中的蛟龍。即使他們當時並沒有找到屈原，但是他們的行為，直到今天在端午節的時候，仍然被人們傳頌紀念著。

第一，重復記憶法；幾乎每個人都有記憶缺陷，大多人對於事物能在一時記住，但是過不了多久就會忘記，如果我們在忘記了後又再次記憶，不斷的重復記憶3次以上，那麼這個印象就會大大的加深，不會輕易的忘記。
因此首先要完全掌握書本上的，書本上的單詞以及短語都是最基本的，其次才是閱讀其他資料的詞彙。對於書本上的詞彙量，我們需要每天都抽出一定時間進行記憶，並跟同學相互聽寫已驗證之間的掌握程度。這種模式我建議每天都要堅持，並且在不斷學習的過程中還得要不斷重復，每隔一段時間後應該去溫故一遍，檢查出哪些比較陌生的詞語，再次記憶，直到完全掌握。
第二，發散式思維記憶；這個方法就是通過一個單詞，自己看見這個單詞就立馬想到其含義，並且能聯想到相關短語組合，或者相近意思的單詞，並且不斷的拓展延伸，這種方法很有意思，很是能夠串聯、考證自己的詞彙量！如果你能一直這樣盡可能的把你記得的詞語串聯下去，那麼你的英語詞彙量已經很厲害了！
第三，實踐方法；不管你平時記住了多少詞彙，到底效果怎麼樣，只要投入實踐才知道，這個實踐方法就是大量的練習聽力、完形、閱讀、寫作，只有在這幾個過程實踐才能鍛煉出自己的語感，以及對實踐的把握跟相關考試技巧！以前我們每天起碼都會練習一套聽力、一篇完形填空，兩篇閱讀，外加一周兩次寫作，對於這個過程是長期的，並不是短期了、堅持下就算了。分數絕對可以讓你從剛開始聽力不及格（滿分30）、完形填空（滿分30）只正確幾個，閱讀十來分（滿分40），寫作不到十分（滿分25），到後來的聽力、完形、閱讀，每塊只錯一兩個，寫作20來分左右，自然而然分數就上去了！
注意事項
在高中，嚴格的說，對於每一單科不管哪一科沒學習好，對自己的整體成績都產生很大的影響，首先語數外就不用說了，每科150分，而文理綜合都是300分，這每一樣都是大頭，因此我個人覺得高中科目是沒有什麼主次之分的，科科都是重點，都需要學生全力以赴。
