7. 如何在英語寫作課上激勵學生
一、充分利用課文,提高寫作能力。古話說:「模擬者,古人用功之法也。」對於初學者,可以模擬課文進行寫作,所以,在平時的教學中,我們可以要求學生多看,多背好文章,培養語感,實踐證明,背誦課文可以使學生掌握更多的短語知識,學生在寫作中經常使用固定短語可使文筆流暢,寫作速度加快,同時背誦課文對提高學生的寫作能力大有裨益,所以我們可以充分利用所學課文,培養學生的寫作能力,具體做法有:1、仿寫課文,讓學生模仿課文寫是一種實用的方法。仿寫是學生初始階段最基本的寫作訓練,可以根據不同體裁的短文,如通知、書信、情況介紹等進行仿寫,讓他們在理解課文的基礎上仿寫其句子、格式、內容寫作,通過仿寫課文,一方面能幫助學生學習和掌握不同體裁的寫作特色和技巧,另一方面課文中的詞彙、句型也自然地得到了鞏固和強化,由領會到活用,從而提高學生在語篇情景中運用基礎知識的綜合運用能力;2、縮寫課文,縮寫是在細讀課文的基礎上,用自己的話准確而全面地寫出原文的大意,縮寫課文能激勵學生認真鑽研課文,有助於學生加深對課文的理解,提高學生歸納總結和進行簡要表達的能力,在縮寫課文時教師應該指導學生學會找出課文中的關鍵詞,讓學生根據關鍵詞進行縮寫,使學生順利完成寫的任務。3、改寫課文,改寫就是在不改變原文內容的前提下,對課文形式按要求作改變,形成一篇新的文章。改寫課文可以培養學生舉一反三的語言表達能力,熟練掌握英語表達法,促使學生去鑽研、思考,調動學生的學習積極性。
二、掌握五種基本句型。英語語法和句型是骨架,單詞和短語是血肉,是基礎。教師在引導學生學習單詞、短語和句型中,學寫簡單句,讓學生潛移默化地熟練掌握五種基本句型:1、S+V(主語+不及物動詞)2、S+V+O(主語+及物動詞+賓語)3、S+V+P(主語+系動詞+表語)4、S+V+IO+DO(主語+及物動詞+間接賓語+直接賓語)5、S+V+O+C(主語+及物動詞+賓語+賓語補足語),在平時的教學中,注重對學生簡單句的訓練,進行單句漢譯英的訓練,讓學生熟練掌握五種基本的簡單句。實際上,英語寫作很大程度上就是漢譯英的訓練,因此,只有具備了一般句子的漢譯英能力,再結合題目所給的漢語提示和英語信息,用恰當的有用的英語句型進行整合,才能寫出意思連貫的通順的英語文章。
三、對學生進行聽說訓練,培養聽說能力,激發書面表達興趣,英語教學中的聽說讀寫四種技能是相互聯系、相輔相成的,因此對這些技能的練習也不能孤立地進行。聽是接受,說是表達。聽和說的關系密切,二者相輔相承。聽是說的基礎和前提,說又對聽起著消化和促進作用,在實際教學中,我採用了以下方法:1、堅持課前5分鍾自由交際,每天課前讓學生與老師,或學生與學生用英語進行自由交際,主要形式有師生問答、值日生報告、講英語故事,內容可以是剛學過的書本知識,也可以是真人真事,句子可長可短,課下每個學生都要整理記錄自己自由交際的內容,這樣的形式既練聽又練說,同時也能激發學生的寫作興趣,提高英語表達能力。2、造句練習。從初一開始,每天叫學生進行造句訓練。例如:at
home――I am at home this evening. On Sunday――He does his homework on
Sunday.
3、對話練習,每學一個類型的對話,都叫學生進行自編自演的對話練習。例如:問路對話、看病對話、談論假期等。4、復述課文練習。每學完一篇課文,要求學生根據關鍵詞進行復述課文練習。5.堅持聽寫,促進寫作,寫作是一種能力,是一種運用學過的英語知識和掌握技能進行思想交流的能力。所以,堅持每節課都有一定量單詞的聽寫,並且全批全改。
四、多背多記,達到事半功倍的目的。俗話說得好:「熟讀唐詩三百首,不會作詩也會吟」。所以,背誦在學生的寫作能力培養的過程中,具有著不可低估的作用。在日常的英語學習中,教師可以鼓勵學生多背一些好文章、好句子、短語、諺語、俗語,這樣,在學生寫作文時就可以游刃有餘了,久而久之,學生就可以比較輕松地寫出好的文章了。
五、及時批改,進行反饋。學習再認真的學生也難免出現錯誤,一旦他們的文章中有錯誤時,老師一定以尊重學生的自尊心為前提,採用合適、有效的方法幫助他們改正。學生交上來的作文,老師要認真進行批改,除了要圈出學生的單詞錯誤和句子語法運用上的錯誤,還應該給學生一些恰如其分的評價語,或表揚或鼓勵或點撥或建議,讓學生從心裡感受到老師對他的勞動成果的尊重與重視,激發他更多的潛能,增強他寫作的信心。有時,針對一些相對薄弱的學生,我們還可以採取面批的形式,及時地糾正學生在寫作中出現的錯誤,在糾錯時,語氣要平和、緩慢,不要造成學生的心理壓力,使學生保持堅持寫英語作文的勇氣和信心。另外,在批改作文時,老師還應該及時記錄並歸納學生作文中反映出的典型問題,為講評課做好准備,在講評作文時,教師要以表揚為主,挑出一些錯誤較少的,優秀的作文,在全班進行閱讀,讓學生取長補短,不斷提高自己的寫作水平。
總而言之,英語寫作是一個長期積累的過程,要想提高寫作能力,學生平時要加強閱讀,積累一定量的詞彙、句型、段落和短文,只有多讀、多背,才能出口成章,下筆成文。同時,還要了解英文寫作的基礎知識,掌握常用文體的寫作方法,不斷提高學生的英語寫作能力。另外,老師還要細心觀察、耐心引導、適當鼓勵學生,千方百計讓學生保持濃厚的學習英語的興趣,使他們體會到學習英語的樂趣,漸漸培養運用英語寫作的能力。
