三、模仿在英語寫作教學中的應用
2.1在寫作中要善於抓住模仿的轉化功能
模仿不是抄襲,關鍵是要抓住模仿的轉化功能。袁枚在《隨園詩話》中說:「善學者,得魚忘鑒;不善學者,刻舟求劍。」我們寫作教學的重要任務之一,就是如何教會學生進行模仿借鑒,並在模仿借鑒中逐步提高自己的寫作能力。先得「規摹變化之訣」,然後才有「化腐為新之功」。因此,正確運用模仿,使之發揮應有的作用是非常重要的。我們認為:首先要創造模仿的前提,掌握模仿的步驟和方法。模仿的前提主要是培養學生具有基本的寫作知識和一定的表象儲存,使他們對自己所寫的文章佔有較充分的材料,對主題和體裁也有較明確的確定。只有具備了這些條件,模仿才能得以施行。因此,寫作教學中有必要逐步介紹並讓
學生掌握基本寫作知識,即從標點符號的使用,到連詞造句、造句成段、連段成章及寫作技巧等,還要認識和識別不同文體和體裁的短文,並了解它們的基本特
征和模式。
我們運用模仿的具體步驟和方法是:首先,精心挑選不同體裁和題目的範文,並確定模仿的內容、形式及類別。好的範文可以形象地告訴學生,某一篇作文該寫什麼和怎麼寫,這比對學生作反復解釋都還要清楚得多。一般同一體裁的題目提供兩篇以上的範文,讓學生懂得即使是同一現象,也能有不同形式的描繪,以激勵他們獨立思考,進一步培養獨立寫作的能力。其次,充分理解範文。模仿以理解為基礎,同時加速理解到使用的過程。我們在英語寫作教學中,一般地要在課堂上向學生詳細地介紹範文的體裁、寫作手法和技巧、它的主題思想、情節發展順序或關系等,教會學生對範文充分理解和體會,從而把握其中的思想脈絡、構造網路及寫作技巧,並不斷從範文中得到啟發,產生創造的慾望。「範文啟發」是一種創造性思維方法。第三,加強模仿訓練。主要辦法是「一對一」模仿寫作,熟記多練。一般計劃是:一個星期安排一個題材、一至二篇範文,先教師課堂講解,然後學生課堂上或課外模仿範文寫短文,這中間,要求學生熟讀課文。教師課外批閱學生習作,最後,教師在課堂上進行詳細講評,挑選優秀習作張貼出來作示範,供學生欣賞學習,對差的習作,一般個別指導,安排重寫。通常,寫作教師可以在每星期安排一種類型的寫作,數量在3-6篇不等,根據不同的要求來制定。比如在一個星期中指定要求寫說明文,就可以定很多不同的題目,比如:我的母親(Mymother),我的朋友(Myfriend)等等,象這種類型的範文特別容易找,所以可以給出很多的範文,首先應該使學生懂得在同一種說明文中也可以有不同形式的描繪,比如在描繪母親時,可以寫母親的勤勞也可以寫母親的慈祥等等,在技巧運用中既可以使用事例(example)也可以使用抒情(expressone』semotion)等等。其次應該讓學生多多甚至多背誦有利於寫作的範文,這樣才能做到爛熟於心,並最後融會貫通。最後老師應該在範文的模仿過程中時刻指出學生的不足,指出是哪裡不足,應該怎樣模仿、怎樣修改。

人們常問:學生為什麼要學習寫作?一種回答是學生需要學習寫作(learningtowrite),另一種回答是學生需要通過寫作來學習(writingtolearn)"對許多教師來說,後者已經取代了前者,他們認為學生思維能力的發展與他們在寫作過程中努力發現意義有著直接的關系,也就是說,寫作是一個自我發現,自我認識,發現和認識周圍世界的過程,模仿思維也要靠長期的努力發現,在熟悉原有模板基礎上不斷創新,形成更新、更合適的模板來應用於寫作,在寫作中應用模板而又高於模板,用心磨合,大膽取捨,提高模板質量,培養模仿思維。模仿寫作也是英文寫作的一種有效途徑,模仿思維的培養對學生思維能力的發展是一種有益補充。也許有人會認為模仿只是承襲別人的舊說,不會帶來進步和提高,這是低級模仿才會有的情況,只有我們形成模仿的思維,真正抓住模仿的精髓,才能避免走上形式主義的岔路,做到高級的模仿。

模寫主要訓練主要從四個方面進行。它們是框架模寫、結構模寫、表達法模寫和短語模寫。框架模寫是指對文章的整體布置進行模仿,但在作這一模仿前,學生應首先確定文章的體裁,假定一篇文章的題目是「HowtolearnEnglish」從題目上判斷,這是一篇說明文體裁的文章,全文的中心是「How」文章共分三大部分,即:引言(Introctorypart)、主體(Body)、結論(Conclusion)。在引言部分,作者應以開門見山的風格向讀者展示了自己的觀點並推出解決問題應具有的方法,進入文章主體時,作者以置主題句(TopicSentence)於段落開頭的形式,從時間到空間,從簡入繁,以適當的事例來推進作者對所列舉方法的闡述,在結尾部分即結論部分,作者以再陳述的手法形成首尾呼應,再一次點題。了解這幾點之後,當我們著手寫這篇文章時,我們可模仿教材上說明文的框架,這種框架模寫能確保文章扣題、主題鮮明、層次分明、邏輯性和說明力度強。結構模寫(Imitatingofstructure)結構模寫是指對句子各部分如何形成一體的方法模寫,這里的結構主要指文章的篇章結構,篇章結構可分為線性結構(LinearStructure)和層次結構(HieraticalStructure),句子之間在意義上無主從關系,而是直線發展的線性結構,日常對話通常是一種線性結構,而層次結構則指句子之間在意義上有一種主從關系,主題句和輔助句(supportingsentence)的關系就是一種語義上的主從關系。所以同學們在模寫訓練過程中無論是框架、結構、表達法還是短語都應該先思考,先找出模寫的對象,之後才合適地模寫,而不能模的文不對題。而且在模寫過程中應用腦模寫而不是用手模寫。真正做到模寫一次學會一種方法。這樣才能使模寫訓練得到一定的效果。否則也只是做無用功。

」考試後,經常聽到有同學發出這樣的疑惑,其實你很有可能是在「中國式英語」里打轉轉。「寫作水平高低並不是由詞彙量決定,而是全方位綜合能力的體現,『中國式英語』很可能成為部分學生陷入寫作的誤區,因此將『中國式英語』與『英文式寫作』融合貫通才是解決之道。」相關專家分析指出。 學生:強化語法知識、平常心對待 到底什麼是「中國式英語」?「中國式英語」也就是我們常說的Chinglish,基本上是指說英語時依然使用中文語法的現象,也叫「轉換錯誤」。因為你並沒有真正使用外語的語法,而是把自己母語的語法轉換到了外語上。 每次作業或考試,某些學生絞盡腦汁也寫不出英語作文,然後想出的辦法經常是先寫中文稿,再翻譯出所謂的英語作文,或者習慣性地用中文的表達方式寫英語作文,這就是典型的中國式英語作文。 專家指出,要解決此類問題,首先要使用該語言思考,而不用在頭腦里來回翻譯,將中文式思維轉變為英語思維的最根本的途徑之一就是強化語法知識。很多同學的詞彙量很豐富,但是對於怎麼用,什麼時候用卻並不明白,而這些恰恰是語法知識的作用,哪些詞要用在句中,哪些詞應該用在句尾,語法里都有相應的規定。另外,對於英美文化背景的掌握也很重要。 在寫作時,要求學生能夠綜合運用邏輯、詞彙和語法等多種知識和技能來完成一個寫作任務,因此不需要生僻的詞彙,也不需要寫得高深莫測,而是應該抱著平常的心態去描述自己看到的東西,表達自己想到的內容,將學過的詞從記憶深處調動出來,很多情況下,用平常心態寫出來的東西內容雖簡單但不乏生活氣息,語言雖稚嫩,但卻准確易懂。 老師:「中國式英語」與「英文式寫作」貫通融合 專家認為,中高考英語作文的考試模式要求不同,中考模式是結構簡單、使用簡單句居多,高考則要求靈活使用復合句。這就對英語老師的能力提出更高的要求,既要保證學生考分,更要培養學生英文意識,因此只靠背「中國式英語」作文模式毫無意義,應該將其與實際運用相結合,為學生長遠學習打下基礎。 現在客觀條件下,教與學只有共同配合,才能起作用,在不完全拋棄「中國式英語」時,刻意培訓學生的英文思維模式,為學生選擇英文寫作的書籍,鼓勵他們用英文進行結構、篇章、意境等分析練習,更關鍵的是鼓勵學生用英文模式寫作,比如寫生活、寫影評、寫對事物的看法等等,在此過程中,學生們會出現很多錯誤,但正是有了這些錯誤,學生的英文思維能力得到提高,自信心、學習主動性都會相繼提高,因此英語老師還使用「固定思維」,學生就學不到真正的知識。

英語寫作能力是英語聽、說、讀、寫四種基本能力之一,英語寫作能有效地促進語言知識的內化。(1985)提出「可理解輸出」假設,認為包括寫在內的語言產生性運用有助於學習者檢驗目的語句法結構和詞語的使用,促進語言運用的自動化,有效地達到了語言習得的目的。通過寫作,英語知識不斷得到鞏固並內在化,有利於英語技能的全面發展。但是,英語寫作又是廣大英語學習者最感頭痛的問題之一,且容易被教師忽視,筆者以為如何提高英語寫作能力值得我們認真研究。本文就此談談初淺的看法。
一、提高英語寫作能力的原則
(一)漸進性原則。要堅持「句—段—篇」的訓練程序,由易到難,循序漸進。在英語寫作的初始階段,要始終注意培養學生良好的寫作習慣,狠抓基本功訓練。在學生掌握了基本句型並能寫出簡單句子後,再要求學生根據一些體例寫出小段的文章。在段落寫作中要引導學生分析段落的結構、段落的中心句、句與句之間的邏輯關系、寫作手法等,這樣有利於下一步一篇文章的寫作。在文章寫作中要教會學生如何構思文章、如何運用正確的寫作技巧等。
(二)多樣性原則。要堅持訓練形式的多樣化及寫作文體的多樣性。從形式上而言,可以用回答提問的口頭作文,也可以用續寫故事;可以改寫課文,也可以仿寫課文;可以寫提綱訓練謀篇布局,也可以寫拓展段訓練發散思維……。從文體上而言,可以寫說明文、議論文、記敘文,也可以寫書信、便條、通知等實用文體。
(三)結合性原則。要堅持聽說讀訓練和寫訓練相結合。根據語言習得理論,學習者在學習時常先通過聽和讀吸取語言知識,從而了解別人的思想,再通過說和寫來表達自己的思想,讓別人了解自己。大量的聽說訓練能促進讀寫能力的提高。因此,寫與聽說讀緊密結合,進行多元化的能力訓練,可使學生的各項能力互相影響、互相滲透、互相促進。
(四)控制性原則。要堅持寫作前的指導,控制學生的漢語語言思維,發展英語語言思維。語言學習在很大程度上主要是模仿,而非隨心所欲地自由表達。教師要加強寫作前的指導,可給出範文讓學生模仿,以熟悉其語篇結構。同時要控制其漢語語言思維,盡可能讓學生習慣英語語言思維,以便於學生學習和掌握地道、正確的英語。
(五)持久性原則。要堅持長期、正確的寫作訓練。英語寫作能力的提高並非一朝一夕之事,而是一個長期的、艱巨的、漸進的過程。這就要求教師、學生都要有充分的思想准備,要有堅韌不拔的意志和必勝的信心。
二、提高英語寫作能力的方法。
(一)通過積累詞彙量,提高英語寫作能力。猶如土木磚石是建築的材料一樣,詞彙是說話寫作的必需材料,也是制約寫作能力提高的瓶頸。可以想像,如果要寫一個句子,10個單詞有8個單詞拼寫錯誤或拼寫不出,有2 個單詞用法不當,又怎麼能清楚地表達自己的思想呢?因此,在平時的教學中要強調學生記憶單詞,記住單詞的拼讀、用法、意思等。記憶單詞的方法有很多,各人有各人的記憶方法和習慣,可因人而異。教師可通過要求學生朗讀單詞、聽寫單詞、默寫單詞、遣詞造句、詞彙競賽等多種方法促進學生記單詞。記憶單詞是一個長期的反復的過程,要長期地堅持下去,才能不斷積累大量的詞彙,為英語寫作打下堅實的基礎。
(二)通過擴大閱讀量,提高英語寫作能力。古人雲「熟讀唐詩三百首,不會作詩也會吟」,這是漢語的一種學習方法,同樣可借鑒於英語寫作。多閱讀是學生增加接觸英語語言材料、接受信息、活躍思維、增長智力的一種途徑,同時也是培養學生英語思維能力、提高理解力、增強語感、鞏固和擴大詞彙量的一種好方法,有利於促進英語寫作能力的提高。在閱讀訓練中,教師要注意以下問題:一是指導閱讀方法,分析文章結構、中心思想、段落中心句、寫作方法等,幫助學生掌握各類文章的結構及寫作方法。二要精讀與泛讀相結合,通過推敲優秀的文章來學會寫作方法和選詞用詞;通過大量的泛讀來吸取信息量,擴大詞彙量。三要擴大閱讀量。提供閱讀的材料涉及面要廣,才能不斷擴大學生的知識面,使學生適應各種題材的寫作。
(三)通過提高聽說能力,提高英語寫作能力。英語聽說讀寫四種能力是相互影響、相互促進的,提高聽說能力必定會促進寫作能力的提高。要提高聽說能力關鍵在於創設一個良好的英語環境。教師要盡可能地用英語授課,多開展專門的聽說訓練,同時開展豐富多彩的課外英語活動,讓學生沉浸在英語海洋中去領略、去體會、去使用英語,久而久之,學生自然能使用正確的、地道的英語進行交談與寫作。
(四)通過重視寫作過程,提高英語寫作能力。長期以來,英語寫作成果教學法(THE PRODUCT APPROACH)在我國居於主導地位,教師根據寫作的終成品來判斷寫作的成敗,重視寫作的技術性細節(如格式、拼寫、語法等),忽視寫作過程的指導。根據D.Rumechart和J.McClelland提出的連通論(Connectionism)理論,寫作包括寫前階段、具體寫作、文章修改三個基本過程,這三個過程並非是線性排列,而是循環往復,穿插進行的。教師只有重視加強對寫作三個過程的指導,才能更好地提高英語寫作能力。在寫作前階段,教師重在指導學生如何挖掘題材,訓練發散性思維,以及如何選擇材料、謀篇布局等。在具體寫作中,教師重在指導學生如何緊扣主題、運用正確的寫作方法等。在文章修改中,教師重在指導學生如何修改語法及用詞的錯誤。
(五)通過多寫英語摘要,提高英語寫作能力。英語摘要是把一篇文章的要點摘錄出來,用自己的語言使之獨立成一篇短文,這不是簡單的摘錄,而是忠於原文意思的再創作。寫英語摘要有利於學生了解原文的文化背景、理解原文的中心意思、弄清原文的篇章結構,從而提高學生的邏輯思維能力和謀篇布局能力。
(六)通過發展英語語言思維能力,提高英語寫作能力。英語寫作是運用已掌握的內在化語言知識和表達方法,通過思維進行外在化輸出的創作,因此英語語言思維能力在英語寫作中作用非凡。對於我國學生而言,在英語寫作中易受漢語語言思維的影響,難以直接用英語語言進行思維,不利於英語寫作能力的提高,因此發展其英語語言思維能力尤為重要。教師要注意對學生的英語語言思維進行多方位、多角度的訓練:要採取各種方法訓練學生英語語言思維的廣闊性、深刻性、發散性和創造性;要教會學生用英語思考問題、回答問題;要從訓練形象思維開始,逐步過渡到抽象思維訓練;在課文講解中要盡可能不用漢語翻譯而用英語解釋,消除漢語思維的影響;要努力創設良好的英語環境,在英語交際中發展英語思維能力。
