專八，我最怕的是聽力，不知道你回有沒同感？在平時，我答其實一直在聽listen to this 以及step by step，這些是非常好的聽力素材，還有voa,bbc，在老師的帶領下聽了幾本，給自己打下一定基礎。考前，我買了一點專八針對性很強的復習題，堅持幾天聽一套，很有用。
然後說翻譯，翻譯你可以嘗試學學高級口譯，我覺得它和專八還是有一定的相似之處的。而且對你以後的提高有好處。
至於寫作，只要稍稍練一下就可以了，一般不偏題，並在規定的時間內完成應該沒問題的。

2. 如何提高英語專業八級寫作
本人也是英語專業，並在去年已經考出專八了，個人認為要提高寫作就回是要合理把握好答文章的結構，還有正確運用銜接詞，多積累一些片語，運用到文章中，盡量避免用詞重復，否則就顯得你詞彙量少，水平不高。。。
多閱讀英語報刊雜志，積累點詞彙，一方面都幫你提高閱讀，一方面好的文章的句型你也可以摘抄並學以致用，不是很提倡機械地背誦範文，而是要從範文中取精，自己加以修改和完善，把別人地東西消化並變成自己地東西。。。
寫作的書沒用過，但是其它人文改錯，星火和沖擊波的書都用過，相比星火沖擊波地比較簡略集中，而星火地內容就比較多卻有點散。。。
以上是個人可以提出地一些經驗，望對你有幫助，最後祝願你能順利考出專八。。。

遣詞造句是寫文章的基礎，詞對於一篇文章來講，就好象磚頭和房子的關系一樣，盡管小，但其作用不容忽視的。(一) 選擇恰當的詞 說話行文都得注意用詞。說話時或在寫作的初期階段，我們對詞的選擇基本上是無意識的，往往是隨手拈來，只要能表達意思就行。但是，要想出一篇好的文章，就要在不同風格的文章中選用不同種類的詞。 要想用詞正確，除了需要弄明白詞的本義和隱含意義外，還需要了解詞在文章中可能給讀者留下的印象等問題。按照《高等學校英語專業高年級英語教學大綱》的要求，英語專業第四學年本科生最少應該認知9000~12000個英語單詞，在寫作時應該知道怎樣從自己掌握的詞彙里選擇出正確的詞來表達自己的意思。當然，在他們的文章中仍然有一些詞不達意的地方，會出現一些用錯的詞彙，但在更多的時候，他們所選用的詞彙並非全錯只是不太確切，不太符合英美人土的用詞習慣，或者是使用了已經過時的詞。因此，學生在擴大詞彙量的同時，還應該掌握一些用詞的知識和基本原則。 總的來講，「恰如其分」是選詞的最高原則。也就是說，「要在恰當的地方用恰當的詞。」 另外，選詞的時候要注意選擇確切的詞(Choosing for Exact Words)。一個詞往往有兩層意思，即詞的本義和詞的隱含意義。詞的本義是一個詞最基本的、最直接的字面意義，而一個詞的隱含意義則是這個詞所傳遞的一種感覺態度以及可能使人產生的某種聯想，是詞的「言外之意」。英語里有許多不同的詞可以用來表達同一個意思，它們被當作同義詞來使用要選擇合適的詞，不僅需要准確地了解一個詞的字面意義，而且還要知道其隱含意義。一本好的詞典會詳盡解釋一個詞的字面意義，但不可能詳盡地說明一個詞的隱含意義。因此，要准確地捕捉一個詞的隱含意義。要靠自己在乎時的學習和閱讀中積累和體會。(二) 區分籠統詞和具體詞 從意義上來看，詞可以從最籠統到最具體。幾乎每個東西都可以進行不同程度的分類，從最籠統至最具體。如果一個人在動，你可以籠統地說"He moves"，更具體一點"He walks"，更具體一點"He struts"。 一個具體、實義名詞所表述的東西往往非常生動形象，它好像就在你面前，彷彿可以看到、觸到、嘗到、嗅到或者聽到。籠統或抽象名詞通常是用來表示一種情緒(love)，一種狀態(misery)，一種思想(democracy)，一種理論(evolution)，一門學科(biology)或泛指一類事物(creature，plant，organism)。籠統或抽象的詞還可以將許多特別的、具體的東西綜合起來給人一種總體印象，用來泛指一類事物，它們往往是看不見、摸不著的。 一篇好文章需要籠統和具體詞並用。過多地使用或濫用籠統詞，會使文章枯燥無味，晦澀難懂。完全使用具體詞，又可能會使讀者難以抓住文章的觀點。學生開始用英語寫作時，由於詞彙量有限，有時只好使用籠統抽象的詞彙。但隨著詞彙量的增加，就要逐步糾正這種做法。學會用具體的詞來描寫具體的事物和具體的情節，學會根據具體情況選用具體的詞如stroll，stride，drag，shuffle，slouch，totter, sway, hobble，lurch，limp，plod，wander, saunter, loiter等，來代替籠統詞walk。(三)適當使用習語
英語習語，是英語語言國家的人常用來表達思想的語言方式。許多習語無法用語法規則來解釋，也難以從字面上猜出意思。習語是英語詞彙的核心，其表現力豐富、生動，能給文章增添光彩。(四)避免使用行話及矯飾詞
行話即專業術語，多用於專業性強的文章中，在普通文章里很少見，因為這類詞容易令句子顯得晦澀、不流暢，況且，八級寫作很少會出現專業性極強的題目，為此，我們在寫一般的文章時，應該盡量避免，尤其是在可以使用其它的詞來表達的情況下，更不要用專業術語。請看下面的例句： When l asked my parents if I could use the car, the feedback was negative. 可改為：When l asked my parents if I could use the car, the answer was no. (Or) When l asked my parents if I could use the car, they said not. 前後兩種表達方式，孰優孰劣，一望便知。 另外一個問題就是矯飾詞。這類詞或片語太長、太誇張，使句子冗長繁瑣空洞無物，因此在寫作時也是應該避免的。
