Universal Pictures has delayed the release of "Fast & Furious 7" for almost a year following the death of star Paul Walker.
The studio announced Monday that the "Fast & Furious" sequel will be released in April 2015, instead of July next year. Shooting on the film was about halfway finished when the 40-year-old Walker died in a car crash outside of Los Angeles.
Walker still will appear in the film, though Universal has not said exactly how it will handle his unfinished performance.
Co-star Vin Diesel first posted the news on Facebook, telling his fans that, "He'd want you to know first."
Proction on "Fast & Furious 7" was on Thanksgiving break when Walker and his friend, Roger Rodas, died in a fiery crash in Valencia on Nov. 30. Rodas, 38, was driving his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT with Walker in the passenger seat.
Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have found no evidence of mechanical problems and have ruled out debris or other roadway conditions causing the car the slam into a light pole and tree. The investigation is ongoing, but law enforcement officials have said speed is believed to be the cause.
Shooting on "Fast & Furious 7" had been planned to resume in Atlanta two days after the crash, but Universal suspended proction indefinitely.

To have a Low-Carbon Lifestyle
Last Friday we had a class meeting titled "Low-Carbon Lifestyle starts with me". At the meeting ,we talked about what we can do to have Low-Carbon Lifestyle. Here are some recommendations to get started.
(1) Buy A-rated electrical appliances.
(2) Switch to energy saving light bulbs, when your old bulbs break. They last around 10 times longer than ordinary light bulbs; they will save you money and come in loads of different styles.
(3) Items left on standby can use up to 85% of the energy they would use if fully switched on. Turn them off at the wall – it doesn』 take long.
(4) When making a cup of tea, only boil the amount of water that you need.
(5) Turn off the tap while cleaning your teeth.
(6) If your toilet cistern holds more than 6 litres of water (likely if it was installed before 2001) put a Hippo Water Saving device in it.
(7) Have a shower instead of a bath, which uses far less energy and water.
(8) Set a car-free day, teachers and students can walk or ride a bicycle to school.
After the above suggestions were discussed, I thought of donating our used books to the lower batch or to the school library.

It's become a central truth of American filmmaking that audiences will watch Robert Downey Jr. doing pretty much anything, and when he's having as much fun as he is as the magnetic center of Sherlock Holmes, there's no choice but to be swept along for the ride. Effectively remaking the original Pirates of the Caribbean as a Victorian London caper, Guy Ritchie combines his kinetic direction with the limitless charms of Downey Jr and Jude Law to come up with terrific entertainment that's equal parts brains and brawn, American recklessness and English manners. In short, it's a blast.
The movie is structured essentially as an adventure romance, as Holmes (Downey Jr.) and Watson (Law) try to break up and, through crooked schemes and explosions and near escapes, realize by the end how much they mean to one another after all. At the beginning Watson is preparing to move out of 221b Baker Street, with plans to propose to pretty and proper Mary (Kelly Reilly) and leave the detective business entirely. Holmes, bored and hilariously jealous, attempts to sabotage Watson's engagement and also draw him back into the game, now that an old closed case has suddenly reopened.
Months earlier Watson and Holmes put away Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong), an aristocrat who murdered five people via some kind of dark arts ceremony. Watson himself supervised Blackwood's hanging, but when he appears to have risen from the dead, everyone from the police to a secret cabal wants to know how he did it. Blackwood and his legion of followers have plans for world domination via drinking potions and other hocus pocus, while Holmes goes about finding Blackwood in the only way he knows how-- using his "not inconsiderable knowledge" and foolproof logic. Meanwhile, Holmes's old flame Irene Adler (Rachel McAdams) is back in town, a criminal beauty working secretly for a shadowy boss with a penchant for fancy weaponry. Adler pops up from time to time to help Watson and Holmes in their investigations, and it's clear to the audience that she'll throw a wrench in things even when Holmes hasn't quite gotten there.
Dipping into chemistry and pentagrams and the earliest forms of electricity, the plot is all over the place, and I'm not entirely certain I understand how it all fit together in the end. But the story really just provides a vehicle for the action and the fantastic character interactions, one of which delivers slightly better than the other. While some action setpieces, like a fight at a shipyard and the final race against the clock, are brilliantly structured, the fight choreography gets chopped up into bits, with Ritchie cutting too quickly for the audience to see a punch or a kick all the way through. The editing often works directly at odds with Downey Jr.'s physicality, as he throws in a funny movement or a particularly sweet punch, only to see it lost entirely to needless slo-mo and quick cuts.
Then again, all that Ritchie noodling works great in Holmes's investigation scenes, allowing him visual flashbacks to all the clues that led him to his conclusions and avoiding the dreadful slowness that comes with most mystery-solving monologues. Miraculously the audience is right there with Holmes even ring his most out-there epiphanies, and the equally out-there camerawork pays off well in making this period piece feel unstuffy, but also not gimmicky. He's helped immensely by Hans Zimmer's loose, wily score, one of the best action movie scores I've heard in years.
When Ritchie holds the camera relatively still and lets all of the actors play off each other, there's nothing better. Eddie Marsan is hilarious as the frustrated Inspector Lestrade, and Strong's Blackwood makes for a great intellectual equal against Holmes, but when Downey Jr. and Law are together the screen lights up so brightly it could catch fire. Bantering like Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell or trading off punches in a fight, the two actors have rarely looked so self-assured or in synch with an onscreen partner. Watson and Holmes squabble over clothes and the dog, tend one another's wounds and protect one another from injury, and generally make the best action-adventure o since Indy and Marion. The one downside to all this energy between the boys is that Adler is sold short, flitting in and out of the plot seemingly at random, and rarely getting much out of Sherlock beyond a stolen kiss or two. McAdams is excellent and fiery in the role, but it seems much of her part was trimmed in order to make more room for Downey Jr. and Law. But oh, what a consolation prize that is.
As the movie winds down it begins to brazenly set up a sequel, and given the manifold adventures of Holmes and Watson that Arthur Conan Doyle wrote, it's hard to imagine two heroes better suited to a modern franchise. There are surely simpler Holmes stories to tell that won't get so bogged down in plot, and maybe there's a way to let the brains beat out the brawn next time, at least if the fights are going to stay so incomprehensible. But keep this iteration of Watson and Holmes together, and we're likely to follow them anywhere

1.寫作中可以用and,but,so,誰說不可以的?至於什麼時候不能用,我還真沒發現。
2.My favorite is car because i think car is faster than subway.(這句話有個語法錯誤,你說car is faster than subway,我知道你肯定是想說他們的速度,所以前面最好加上the speed of...至於怎麼改,樓主自己看)
First car is sheap therefore, most peopli could have the car (這個沒看懂。。是不是有單詞拼錯了?sheap是個什麼東東?你想說的是便宜吧?cheap,另外,把逗號放在therefore的前面,people拼錯了).
Then some car is very coll and beautiful the car wil let less populltion than other transportation.(你前面說了some, car就要變形為cars,is換掉,換成are, beautiful後面加一個逗號。污染pollution)
Car is smaller than other transportation there,it can drive very freedom。

Ladies and gentlemen, in summary, our team has argued that the testing of spoken English is both necessary and beneficial.
What supports a good learner of spoken English is a mass of English words, which means that the promotion of spoken English is equal to encourage the learners to master more new English words. No matter how many words a language learner has gained, if he has no idea about how to make use of them, namely, how to speak, it is not a success at all for a language learner. It is also helpful for developing the learners』 ability of writing if the learners have achieved to some extend in spoken English in advance. As we know it, the human race have written language after they can speak. In conclusion, it is ridiculous to refuse to attach enough importance to get spoken English teaching improved.

Environment is my top concern
Nowadays ,with the fantastic spurt of science and technolody, people worldwide are now live in a terrifically wonderful world of unprecedent prosperity!
Here ,I cannot help asking :what is your top concern in your deep heart ,from now on?
Your pocket?
Your lover??
Your shares jumping up and down???
No!
As for me , my top concern is nothing more than the environment,a great presence bound up with all living creatures on our unique planet!!
As we can see,we now live in a progressively thriving world. However,we still are threatened by so many new rising serious problems at the same time!
Now ,let me take the booming tourism for example please! On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising instries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go. It has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth. It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity. But on the other hand, many problems can occur unexpectedly!
And the environmental problems rising from tourism are getting even worse than ever before!
In some districts, environment has been largely contaminated:millions of tons of wastes are pouring into the environment alarmingly;the deforestation are still proceeding;the conservation areas of wild animals are disturbingly declining ……As a result ,the contradiction of the native people and wild lifes is deteriorating,so much so that the number of the people compelled to see a doctor are increasing tremendously!
At this point,it is high time that we adopted all possible and effective measures to cope well with this problem ,so as to make ourselves live in harmony with our environment!
So ,are you still hesitating?Let』s go hand in hand to make all things go right!
