1. 教學片斷一：利用錄像還原情境，復習舊知識。

設計意圖：模仿央視節目「天天飲食」導入，情景再現炒飯環節，引起學生興趣，並通過復述達到復習順序副詞和描述步驟的目的。
情景再現：在師生互動問候之後，播放一段炒飯的視頻，情境再現炒飯的各個環節，在放映時邊停頓邊向同學們提問：「What are the ingredients? What』s this step?」 此舉在於復習Section A中所學的炒飯的步驟和順序副詞的使用。由於該視頻模仿的是央視節目天天飲食—daily diet英語版，由本人擔任廚師，因此學生的興趣一下子就提了上來,回答也比較積極。

評析： ①優點：採用預先拍攝的圖片，把書本知識通過視覺更加直觀明了地展示在學生面前，讓學生有如臨其境的感覺，並能引導學生進入英語思維模式。設置的小組競答步驟和動手製作三明治的過程，讓學生在玩中學，在玩中進行語言聚焦。
②改進之處：課後有聽課老師建議如果在圖片旁多些關鍵詞，多些文字說明，那對中下層次的學生便能更容易地回答，增強他們的自信心。另外這個環節如果以學生整體來描述的話，會使更大面積的學生得到鞏固，畢竟這個製作三明治過程的描述是本課的重點所在。此外，小組分工還不夠到位。小組成員的分工是體現新課程提倡的合作學習理念的重要體現。（羅敏江2009:39）當然，在這個過程中，各小組成員的分工是不一樣的，應要有明確的指導，使各位成員在每次合作中起不同的作用，不能每次都讓同樣的人來「說」英語，這樣才能使他們在各自不同的起點上取得不同的進步。
3. 教學片斷三：利用圖片和文字解說創設交際情境，操練新句型。

Oral practice: T explains the sentence pattern 「Would you mind if …」 After presenting two examples, T sets another two situations for them to make conversations with their partners.
設計意圖：這個句型為請求允許的句型,在生活中比較常見，但對學生要用英語表達出來仍存在難度，這是個這堂課的一個難點。因此本人設置了四個生活中經常看到的、息息相關的場景。
情景再現：幻燈片上的四個交際情境是為教授句型「Would you mind if…?而設置的。如場景一：圖片顯示在公共汽車上有一個空座位，一位剛上車的乘客在詢問空座位旁的另一位乘客是否可坐在該座位上。這時可用英語提問「Would you mind if I sit here?」 其回答是「Of course, please have a seat.」 再如場景二，圖片顯示窗外大雪紛飛，Jane 在向Maria 詢問是否可以開窗戶，可使用句型「Would you mind if I open the window?」 Maria 可回答「 Sorry, you』d better not/I』m afraid you can』t. It』s cold outside.」 本人用這兩個示例用來教授句型及其應答，並有另外兩個場景供學生小組討論並操練。在教學過程中，教師在呈現問句之後故意不說出答語，而直接讓學生來回答。大部分的學生都回答不來，感覺有點不知所雲的樣子。教學之後，學生對應答和句型的使用是清楚了，但是在完整對話方面仍存在困難，這個問題在操練和展示第三個場景時就暴露出來了，教學效果不是很理想，部分學生在老師的幫助下才完成了對話。後來，在第四個場景放映後，教師在黑板上臨時添加該場景所需的片語，這才解決了備課時沒想到會出現的問題，學生最後一個對話就完成得很不錯了。
評析： ①優點：巧妙設計四個生活情境，既跟句型相關，又貼近生活，學生在學習句型的同時能用英語思維，還能明白該句型應該在什麼情況下使用，如何應答等。在遇到事先沒預設的問題時，教師能夠隨機應變，臨時對教學進行微調，很好地突破了這個教學難點。
②改進之處：學生的操練時間不夠長，小部分學生對英語解說詞不能理解透徹，以至於有些同學對造句的技能掌握不熟練，如果在備課時能在幻燈片上顯示出關鍵片語，就可以解決操練和展示時暴露的問題。因為在這個時候，學生仍然處於模仿階段，而不是生成階段。
