舞龍表演結束，時針指向了下午五點三十分，這是祖屋約定俗成的統一燃放鞭炮的時間。看鞭炮的燃放，是我們這些孩子最為期待的一個節目。一串串鞭炮早已掛在院子的圍牆上。鞭炮點燃，聲音此起彼伏，霎時，導火線變成了一條條前進的火龍，濃煙開始散發直沖天空。爆竹的紙屑或高或低在院子上空飛舞，像無數朵紅梅在競相綻放。

100米賽跑，真要命呀！望著長長的跑道，我的腿都軟了。 「別緊張，你能行的！」眼前出現的又是那張熟悉的笑臉——小紅！

「放鬆些，別緊綳著臉嘛，笑一笑，這就對了，記住，你要用盡全力，心想著終點，認最快件的速度到達終點，我相信你能行！」她那樣子儼然是一個教練，我不由得放鬆了很多。「叭」發令響了，我努力地向前沖去。有位哲學家說過：「如果有股力量促使你奔跑時，你是決不會爬行的。」剛才看來那樣長的跑道一—一下子就像縮短了許多，耳邊不時傳來小紅清脆的聲音：「用全力沖刺，快！」我覺得自己成了一股吹向終點的風。終於，終點線甩在我的身後。小紅一下子扶住了我。她臉掛微笑，歡呼著：「你成功了，成功了！」——是朋友的鼓勵，讓我跑向成功，我感謝朋友。
