命題作文，一般是指出題者給出一個既定的題目，要求應試者根據這個給定題目進行寫作。它包含事件，人物，場面等要素。
從命題內容上來看
近年來全命題作文的命題內容呈現出豐富多彩的傾向：或貼近考生生活關注個體成長，或啟迪考生思考人生哲理，或引導考生聚焦社會熱點……豐富多樣的命題，給考生作文的選材提供了更為廣闊的空間。
從形式上來看
