A very good morning to everyone. I am honoured to be standing on this platform again, but frankly speaking, my heart is thumping so fast that I almost can't take it. Right now, I shall reveal my topic today, which is "A Peaceful Life".

Time flies, and it is now one month left to the end of my first year in the university. Looking back, many things seemed to have just happened yesterday. I still remember the first time I wanted to join a CCA(我們這里CCA=co-curricular activity也就是社團活動), I was fiercely rejected. Not forgetting the first time I went to the beach and took photo with the stone man. Last but not least, the first time holding a birthday party in the hostel and ended up in the KTV later. It's been a long path filled with happiness and sadness. After being through these many obstacles and overcoming the obstacles; crazy and glory, my heart is now at peace. I have come to realise the meaning of living a peaceful life.

Everyday, on my way to class, I would listen to the branches of willow whispering near my ears; admire the water lilies which blossom throughout the summer in the lake; I still remember one afternoon, a tiny tortoise was sun tanning in the water, and I walk without a sound, so as not to frighten it off. In the days of summer when not a single breeze can be felt, having classes is such a torture. Sitting in the big classroom which holds more than a hundred people, snoring sounds can be easily heard. I tried once dozing off ring lessons, and I thought it felt great. I love looking at the knowledgeable faces of teachers and warm smiles, for instance Ms Han(我不知道你老師是男是女，男的就Mr Han)always wears a gentle smile on her face; Mr Ma and his "Lao Bing"......

As for learning, I would always visit the second storey of the library, in which a room full of magazines and newspapers would occupy my mind and time. Although the newspapers articles belong to the previous day, they are still as interesting to me. Compared to the library of books on the first floor, this is much more better, as I always can't find the books I want and are supposed to be available in the first floor. This is the interesting part of the whold thing, the old book "Shui Hu Zhuan" has been borrowed by me upteen times, and everytime I would tell myself that this is a novel which I have to read, but after flipping over the first page, I almost puke. Until at last my library pass is lost. I guess this is because fellow friends can't tolerate with the dirty book anymore. After replacing the library pass, I never borrow that book again. Instead, I would sit infront of the polished table in the library, and spend the whole afternoon quitely reading other books.

After that, I would play basketball. It is really an enjoyment to me. I manage to know a lot of friends there, including Rukawa Kaede, and Sakuragi Hanamichi. Different people gives me different feelings. Their professional skills in basketball always make me feel excited and lively. Of course, I am more willing to play basketball with friends in the hostel, where everyone perspire together, get wounded together, pray together, and cheer together.

Yes, this is our youth; beautiful and lovely youth which passes in a peaceful life.
