Diamond
Friendship is a diamond
buried in the earth;
a treasure of great worth.
But first it must be mined
then faceted and shined.
It takes pick and shovel and strain,
encompassing time and enring pain,
until its grace is seen;
a glittering gift of love
that's shared between we three:
First God,
and you,
then me.

Pumas are large, cat-like animals which are found in America. When reports came into London Zoo that a wild puma had been spotted forty-five miles south of London, they were not taken seriously. However, as the evidence began to accumulate, experts from the Zoo felt obliged to investigate, for the descriptions given by people who claimed to have seen the puma were extraordinarily similar.
The hunt for the puma began in a small village where a woman picking blackberries saw 'a large cat' only five yards away from her. It immediately ran away when she saw it, and experts confirmed that a puma will not attack a human being unless it is cornered(adj. The search proved difficult, for the puma was often observed at one place in the morning and at another place twenty miles away in the evening. Wherever it went, it left behind it a trail of dead deer and small animals like rabbits. Paw prints were seen in a number of places and puma fur was found clinging to bushes. Several people complained of 'cat-like noises' at night and a businessman on a fishing trip saw the puma up a tree. The experts were now fully convinced that the animal was a puma, but where had it come from ? As no pumas had been reported missing from any zoo in the country, this one must have been in the possession of a private collector and somehow managed to escape. The hunt went on for several weeks, but the puma was not caught. It is disturbing to think that a dangerous wild animal is still at large in the quiet countryside.

Many people consider that numbers are not simply a digit but a symbol of luck, while others indicate that luck has nothing to do with numbers. I personally do not agree that lucky number will bring one luck, for luck completely depends on probability, and believing in lucky number is just a typical form of superstition.
First of all, It is the basic math problem. Any number is equal, not that your number is favored because it is lucky number. Buying lottery for example, the lottery machine will never care how lucky the number you pick is. . Secondly, luck is a nothingness itself, let alone lucky number. It was invented only for mentally comforting people who believe in it.
Indeed, The result of a hockey game will never be changed by a player's jersey with a lucky number on it. Therefore, lucky number does not mean anything or make any difference in people's life.

Weather Predict
A film crew was on location deep in the desert. One day an old Indian went up to the director and said, "Tomorrow rain." The next day it rained.
A week later, the Indian went up to the director and said, "Tomorrow storm." The next day there was a hailstorm.
"This Indian is incredible," said the director. He told his secretary to hire the Indian to predict the weather.
However, after several successful predictions, the old Indian didn't show up for two weeks.
Finally the director sent for him. "I have to shoot a big scene tomorrow," said the director, "and I'm depending on you. What will the weather be like?"

How exciting I can share my holiday description! For me, I spent a most worthwhile and fun holiday ever! After spending a wonderful time eating and shopping at Hong Kong, I came back home and started an intense preparation for the debate tournaments in the U.S.. I partnered with Jason and flew to America a week later. Debating in the U.S. was totally different from that in China- we met much more fluent and logical opponents and learned greater experience than we did in Shanghai. To my surprise, I became a lot stronger than before and led Jason, winning three outof six in Berkeley tournament! Despite my accent and some touch of chinglish, I still won on clear logic and strong arguments. So did Jason. People began to prepare and celebrate for the Chinese New Year as soon as I came back to my hometown. We are always hilarious ring spring festival.
