「興趣是最好的老師」這句話放到英語學習上是千真萬確。這種興趣如何培養？首先必須承認，英語是世界上最優美的語言之一，平時在學習英語的時候要多注意她的優美之處、合理之處、生動之處，不能總盯著她讓你覺得別扭的地方，你覺得不好理解的地方。換一種角度看問題往往可以徹底改變你對一件事物的看法。除此之外，還可以平時多讀一些英語的笑話或幽默小品，在捧腹大笑中領略英語的生動、幽默和妙趣橫生，無形中便會逐漸喜歡這種語言，久而久之，越喜歡越愛學，越愛學越喜歡，很快就可以形成良性循環。人到了這種狀態，能熟練掌握這種語言便指日可待了。
三、制定詳盡的學習計劃，幫助自己克服懶惰性。
真正想把英語學好，應當制定一個詳盡的學習計劃，這個計劃應分為長期的和階段性兩部分。長期計劃可以給自己樹立一個目標，要努力去爭取實現。階段性計劃在完成後可以使我們不斷的獲得成就感，這種成就感可以鞭策我們朝著長期目標繼續努力。 告訴你一條，學英語要循序漸進，沒有捷徑可走，要真想學到東西，就要踏踏實實走好每一步，多看，多背，多寫，多聽，英語的學習在於不斷的重復記憶。英語最主要的是單詞，所以背單詞很重要。我建議你每天花一個半小時背單詞，而背單詞的方法有很多，我的方法是在語境中背單詞，效果快，具體辦法是在一句話或一篇文章中劃出不認識的單詞，標上音標和中文意思，然後多讀，再刻意去看下單詞，你最好准備一個摘抄本，記下不認識的單詞，最好也寫個例句。單詞的記憶也有孰輕孰重，主要記那些動詞和動詞片語，其次是形容詞和副詞。（建議你每天背50-100個單詞）.
