I Love Summer【我喜愛夏天】
It is true that summer is hot, very hot. But the wicked summer sun is nothing to me, for I don't usually go out. What I like to do best ring the long summer vacation is to stay in my own little room and read. I love to read, but ring the school year I could hardly find a free moment for reading. My First Time at the English Corner
It was a beautiful Sunday. Our teacher told us that there would be an English Corner near the gate of the People』s Park. I started off soon after breakfast.
It was already 9:20 when I got there. To my joy, the English Corner had just been on for a few minutes. Oh, what a big crowd! There were professors, teachers, cadres①, engineers, workers, students and PLA men. Some were reading the SSP (Shanghai Students』s Post), some were talking while others were listening attentively②. Everyone was eager to learn from others.
I joined them in their talk. At first, I was afraid that my English was so poor and limited that I couldn』t follow them or make myself understood. I was also afraid that someone might laugh at me. But a smiling face here and an encouraging nod there soon put me at ease③. I became bolder and came to speak English with them freely.
We talked about the situation at home and abroad, about our school life, our hobbies and our ideas. We exchanged experience in our studies with one another and shared views, all in English. I learned a lot of knowledge and made a lot of friends. Through practice, we all improved our English.
The day was unforgettable. Though today we speak only in simple English, we all believe that tomorrow we will make greater progress in English.

Buying Vegetables
This morning I got up early and went to the market to buy some vegetables instead my mother for the first time.
The market was very crowded and busy with nearly all kinds of goods on display. Some sellers were shouting at the top of their voice to attract the attention of the people. Housewives were picking out vegetables and bargaining with the sellers. A man was selling fresh fish, which were swimming in a big basin, and a lot of buyers crowded around it and chose what they wanted. One fruit seller, standing behind piles of fresh fruit, greeted me Warmly, trying to persuade me to buy some. He felt a little disappointed when I shook my head.

Nowadays more and more people have realized smoking can do harm to people'shealth. However, some people still enjoy smoking. Why? Because some of them think it is a kind of fashion, some think it is of great fun and others, think that smoking can refresh themselves.
In fact, smoking is a bad habit. It can cause a lot of diseases. Meanwhile smoking is a waste of money. Besides, careless smokers may cause dangerous fires.

With instries and business developing quickly, the number of trees in many big cities has dramatically reces. Efforts are being made to prevent people from cutting more trees. But a lot of trees are being destroyed by people who have never thought of the importance of green plants.
Making cities greener has many advantages. First, it can make our air cleaner. Some researchers have proved that trees can rece the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere through absorption. Second, it can make our cities more beautiful. With trees and flowers everywhere, living conditions can be improved. Finally, it can proce timber----an effective way to solve the problems of limited supply of natural resources.
Making our cities greener requires nationwide efforts. People in every field should not only know about the importance of keeping the quality of urban environment, but also take common action to plant more trees and flowers so as to improve our living conditions.

I make it a rule to read the newspaper every day. As a student, I have no time to watch news programs on TV. Besides, watching television takes up a lot of time. Consequently, reading the newspaper becomes the only way for me to learn about what's happening around the world.
There is an old Chinese saying: "A scholar need not leave his home to know what's going on in the world." While newspapers do not carry the latest, up-to-the minute world news, they give us a great deal of useful knowledge. Thus, reading the newspaper is, in my opinion, a must for those who wish to keep up with the times.

I went to summer camp on vacation. On the first day, we went to a beautiful beach. It was a sunny and hot day, so we went swimming. The water was warm and we had great fun. Yesterday was Sunday and it was a nice day.My friend and I took a trip to the zoo in our city.Early in the moring,we met at the school gate and started out at about 8:00am.We went by bus and got to the zoo at about 8:30.There were many people in the zoo,men and women,boys and girls were everywhere.We went to the monkey hills to watch the monkeys first.They were very cute,jumping here and there.Then we went to see the elepants.There were several elephants standing on the ground like a wall.All are very big.Later we saw some tigers that are very violent with a very big mouth.
We were glad to see so many animals though we were tired.What a nice day!

今天去吃肯德基了。一進去，我們一家三口立即分了工，爸爸去訂餐，我和媽媽去找座位。好不容易找了個座位坐了下來，趁爸爸還沒來，我又打量了一下肯得基店堂：大廳很寬敞，桌椅整潔漂亮，設施齊全，四周的牆壁上畫滿了兒童卡通畫和肯得基宣傳畫，有清涼的飲料、酥焦的薯條、香噴噴的漢堡包、色香味具全的大雞腿，看著畫上的食物，我饞得直流口水。「可以吃了！」隨著我的一聲歡叫，爸爸端著滿滿一托盤食物走來了。爸爸給我買了兒童套餐，我往餐盤里一看，哇！兒童套餐原來還送玩具呢！一個小巧玲瓏的肯得基小人正在翻油桶，可每次他都運氣不好，總是一頭栽進桶里去！看著他那滑稽的樣子，我不由得「咯咯」地笑出聲來！「洋洋，你要是不餓，我們可要全吃了！」媽媽故意逗我，只見她拿起漢堡包大大地咬了一口，我一看急了，左手抓起大雞腿，右手拿起漢堡包，也啊嗚啊嗚地吃起來，不一會兒，一套兒童套餐就被我「報銷」了！
走出肯德基店門，肯德基的美味還在我嘴裡回味。我心中一直在想，其實國外真的有很多好的東西值得我們學習。
春天來了
「一年之際在於春」「好的開始是成功的一半」，立春了，意味著春天來了。
春天來了，萬物復甦，百花齊放，百鳥爭鳴。
春天來了，春雨淅淅瀝瀝的下個不停，這時的它們也來感受春天的氣息，湊熱鬧來了。它們給地里的小麥，蔬菜補足水份，讓它們快快成長。俗語說「春雨貴如油」說得正是這些。你仔細看，地里的小麥，蔬菜長得多好呀，春風吹過，翻起了綠色的波浪。
春天來了，你再看河堤上的柳條也吐出了新芽，這時是春姑娘用她的巧手給大地換上了新裝，給人煥然一新的感覺。
春天來了，其實最高興的還是辛勤的人們，他們又要開始忙碌了，經過一個冬天的休整，他們一個個干勁十足。遠遠瞧去，只見田間三五一群的人們在高聲的談笑著。
春天來了真好！
一個月的寒假生活即將結束。回顧這一個月以來感覺自己的收獲還是挺多的。
在寒假期間，我利用好每一天的時間來充實自己，通過看書，看雜志，上網等多種途徑來度過自己的寒假生活。當然最有意義的事情還是去了解中國的年文化。我們中國是一個文明之國，歷史悠久，以前過年從沒想過要去深入的了解它。在我們那邊以往只是在走親訪友中度過了，但是今年的形式卻有了很大的改變，人們不只是呆在家裡，而是邀上幾個好友外出遊玩。說起這個來我印象特別深，因為今年我也和幾個好朋友一起出去遊玩了一番，那感覺真的是很舒服，比起以前一過年就走親訪友的好多了，而且這樣也很簡單，方便。
寒假生活的結束，自己也必須盡快調整好心態去准備自己來年的工作。
吃比薩餅
今天，媽媽請她的同事周阿姨和她的女兒琳琳姐姐一起去吃比薩餅。
到了飯店裡，媽媽點完了菜，我就裝出一副很有學問的模樣，跟她們說：「吃西餐的時候，如果你沒吃完，刀叉就要交叉放，如果你吃完了，就把刀叉並排放。」
菜來了，我吃著冰淇淋，姐姐吃著奶昔，我們還不時地交換吃。當然，還是少不了比薩餅，我拿起刀叉，把它分成了一小片一小片。
我覺得外國人吃東西可真麻煩！
這鞭炮太響了，小汽車都「叫了」。放完鞭炮後，我看見了許多美麗的煙火：有的像噴泉，有的像流星閃過，還有的煙火後會變成紅的或綠的小降落傘等等，真是五花八門。我們放的煙花名字叫「天命之意」和「春雷炮」，一個39響，一個48響。我最後想說：「你們燃放時要注意安全。」（
愉快的星期天，我把作業「消滅」後，「終於屬於我的小天地嘍！」我不由自主地撲向快樂天地的懷抱，我高聲歡呼起來。
夏日的太陽
早晨，太陽冉冉地升在東方上空，大地披上了紅裝。艷麗的雲霞，承受著光，煥發著色彩。朝陽把它的光芒射向湖面，微風乍起，細浪跳躍，攪起滿湖碎金。
中午，太陽不再是早晨的溫柔，它將刺眼的光芒射向大地。野草無奈地在酷熱中熟睡，花兒無力地低垂著頭。風像從火爐里扇出來的，熱騰騰，刮到身上，熱辣辣地灼人。
傍晚，太陽收斂起刺眼的光芒，變成了一個金燦燦的光碟，紅光披灑在湖面上，幾朵粉色霞雲飄逸，發著瑰麗的光。它照在湖面上就浮光躍金；它照在綠樹上，綠樹就顯得更加翠綠。
夕陽獻出了最後一絲余暉，微笑著逝去了。然而，明天早上，一輪紅日又從地平線上冉冉升起！
尋春
哼著小曲，跑在草地上，投進大自然的懷抱，這就是正在尋春的我。
赤著小腳丫，坐在草地上。小草早已探出了頭，撫摸著我的雙腳，似母親那樣溫柔，那樣親切。我全身感到癢癢的，舒服極了。小蓓蕾在枝頭說著悄悄話，在微風的吹拂下，旁邊的小花向我微微點頭，似乎換上了一套新衣裳和我們一起過年。
我來到河邊，柳樹姑娘也不例外。春風婆婆也在為它梳著它那長長的，細細的頭發，柳樹姑娘高興得跳起了舞蹈，枝頭的鳥兒也在為柳樹姑娘伴奏著，唱起了那動聽的歌。你們說，這柳樹到底像什麼呢?像碧玉，不，太老土；像翡翠，不，太俗氣。那是一種令人神往，但是又說不出來的綠意。它是令人神往的；是令人陶醉的；是令人迷戀的!我在這景色中陶醉了……
我走到田野，見農民們正在播種秧苗。碧綠的麥田一片片，青青的麥苗一根根。我不禁想起農民們在秋天露出的那一張張笑臉，這都是春天的功勞，我不禁發出感嘆:如無春，哪有秋?意思是說：如果不在春天播種，哪有秋天那碩果累累的果實。朋友們，你們說是吧?
窗外，天空中，幾只大雁從空中掠過，它們排成人字形，好像在說:「勤勞的人們愛春天!」春天的景色遠遠不止這些。
春意藏在湖邊，春情躲在田野中，我將抓住春姑娘的辮子，和她一起走向世界
