通過我們對近十幾年來全國各高校考研英語復試口語的話題數據研究分析發現，復試口語的考察形式雖然較為多變，有考官面試，圖畫描述，小組討論，結構化面試，視譯等多種方式，但從口語考察的話題角度來看，其考查特點和考查規律還是比較明顯的。這也是我們同學們可以在復試之前進行充分准備的地方。
大部分高校在復試當中的考查話題通常可以分為兩個角度，一類話題是基本認知類，針對學生對自我或對考研的基本認真進行提問;另一類是隨機問答類，考官會根據學生的回答來進行即時追問，或針對一些社會熱點、傳統話題來進行隨機提問。所以接下來我們將重點來分析一下這兩類話題的基本內容。
首先對於基本認真類話題來說，其可以分成以下兩類，一是自我認知類，主要是考官對於學員對自我認知的一個剖析;二是考研認知類，考官旨在了解學員對待考研的想法以及規劃等。自我認知類話題一般包含以下內容：學員的性格特徵、興趣愛好、家庭情況、畢業院校、實踐經歷。通過這個問題的考查，考官可以全方位的了解學員是什麼樣類型的人。考研認知類話題主要包含：學員的考研動機，以及學員考研後的規劃，包括研究生階段的規劃和研究生畢業後的規劃。
其次，對於隨機問答類話題，一方面就是考官對於學員回答中感興趣的點，或者不清楚的點進行追問;另一方面就是考官會針對社會熱點來進行提問。比如去年非常熱門的，學生如何看待抖音、學生如何看待人工智慧等話題，今天很有可能考官就會針對當下的疫情來提問。同時，考官也會隨機問一些傳統類話題，比如學員如何看待婚姻，如何看待朋友的作用等。
簡言之，考研英語復試口語當中的話題不是無據可依，反而是非常有規律可循的。所以同學們可以針對每一類話題的答題思路和答題要點來進行准備。

第一個經常問得話題是考研原因。通常我們可以從以下三個方面來回答。

1) 興趣，即強調對所報考的專業懷有極大的興趣(have significant interest in…)。如果本科就讀的專業與報考的專業一致，則可以說明想繼續深造(further ecation)的願望。如果不一致，則要說明報考專業對你的吸引力(…appeals to/attracts me a lot)

2) 優勢， 即強調研究生相對於本科生在知識、 學術方面的優勢， 如： 知識氛圍好(academic atmosphere)， 學術更專業(more professional)， 眼界更廣闊等(broaden one』s vision)

3) 益處，即強調考研對你的未來的積極影響(have a positive effect on…)，可以從求職、職業規劃、人生經歷等方面入手進行說明。可參考的詞彙、短語如下：

be helpful, contribute to, be beneficial to, be conctive to, be a definite,advantage, become a strong point when it comes to…等等。

此外， 對於那些在職考生或有工作經驗的考生來說， 考官更傾向於提問他們為什麼(放棄工作而)重新學習。考生可以直言在工作發現某些知識或技能很重要，希望能過學習在這些方面進行提高(In my work, I found … is rather important.

考官有時會詢問考生對未來的一些規劃，其目的在於試探考生是否對時間、學習、人生有一定計劃性和掌控能力。

1) 學習規劃。關於這一話題，考官通常會以一種較婉轉的方式提問，如：What doyou expect to achieve ring your study if you are enrolled into this university? 回答這一類的問題時， 不僅僅要回答想學到什麼樣的知識、 成為什麼樣的人，最好能夠稍微說說你會/計劃怎樣學習(即學習方法)。無論是傾向於學術理論性的還是側重於實驗研究性的，都要把握一個原則：理論聯系實際，同時主次分明。

2) 職業生涯規劃。職業生涯規劃其實就是明確自己未來的職業方向，雖然考官不常對此提問(基本上也是提問考生對所報考專業的就業前景持何種態度)， 但是這個話題實際上涉及了一個人對自己的性格、天賦、興趣、能力以及社會現狀進行綜合分析的能力，還同時也可以看出他對自己未來人生的一種期望、信念和熱情，因此考生也可對此稍做准備，甚至可以將其放在自我介紹中(不建議口語不太理想的考生這樣做)。需要注意的是， 職業生涯規劃一定要根據自己的實際情況加以定奪， 尤其要注意與所報考專業的契合度。

自我介紹。要求簡潔、有新意，能夠讓考官記住你。重要的是，表達要清晰，不要太快，以別人聽懂為目的。但注意一定要聽考官的指示語，聽到考官說：Can you introce yourself briefly/ say something about yourself 後再開始。其實現在許多口語考試為了避免考生背誦准備好的自我介紹， 都去除了這個部分， 而是由一些簡單問題來代替，如：

Where are you from? Could you say something about your hometown?

Could you say something about your family?

What do you usually do in your leisure time?

What』s your favorite TV program?

Who is the most important person in your family?

怎麼提高口試成績?
(1)多聽英語，四六級的聽力也可以重新聽以提高英語語感;
(2)多收集你所報考專業的英語詞彙，儲備詞彙;
(3)准備常考話題，用英語回為什麼會選擇我們學校?為什麼選擇這個專業等;
(4)多讀英語報紙 。
復試的時候英語聽力是不是必考的呢?
這個因學校而定，要及時關注你報考的院校出台的考試復試細則，裡面會有復試時的各項安排。個別高校會考查聽力，面試階段通常以口語的形式考查。
怎麼准備筆試?
參考院校指定的復試參考書，未指定的話咨詢下學長學姐，實在不知道可以按照初試參考書復習，一般不會考到太難的題目。
怎麼更好地完成聽力測試?
(1)拿到題目後，先對答案進行猜測，做上標記，以減少聽材料時閱讀選項的時間，有更多時間用於分析和思考;
(2)在聽不懂的情況下，要根據經驗和技巧，用餘下的時間進行猜測。
復試的英語聽力難度如何?
復試英語聽力難度是因學校而定的，越好的學校英語的難度是越高，一般院校都是四六級水平，不過英語專業的考試難度要高很多。
怎麼提高我們的聽力水平?
(1)建議先聽四六級，再選擇聽專業四級，VOA 慢速、標准，以及BBC;
(2)多看英美劇和電影;
(3)最後是每天精聽一篇文章，練習聽5遍，默寫出文中的句子。再泛聽30分鍾英語。
復試中的口試一般多少時間?
沒有特別的規定多長時間，都是因現場情況而定，一般是20分鍾左右。
英語口試一般都是以什麼形式考察?
考試形式或以討論(無領導討論)為主或以問答為主。
什麼是無領導討論?
老師會給定一個限定的題目，考生們圍成一個圈進行討論，表達自己的觀點。
無領導討論的時候該注意些什麼?
我們一定要積極表現，有序發言，不宜與其他考生強烈沖突，具有一定邏輯性。
口試問答時該注意些什麼?
一問一答的形式，看你是否犯有嚴重性的表達錯誤，但不要帶有濃郁的家鄉口音。口語考試一般說來20分鍾左右，每個問題控制在3-4分鍾回答時間。
英語口語一般怎樣考察?
每個學校都不一樣，一般都會有2-3分鍾自我介紹，或者抽即興話題，或者讓大家翻譯一段專業文章。我們可以先聯系學長學姐，問問前幾年的考察形式。
英語口語發音不標准，如何短期提高?
(1)參加一些口語訓練營，一定程度上糾正發音;
(2)可以參加學校英語角，多張嘴、多開口。
心理上不必有過多壓力，發音並不是考察的重點。
自我介紹，該怎麼准備?
首先是我們的個人信息，姓名，家鄉是哪裡，來自於哪個學校，為什麼要報考該校該專業、對本專業前景的展望和認識以及讀研期間專業學習計劃、打算等。提前寫好，復試前背熟練。
相關專業知識是不是也要用英語准備?
是的，因為老師有可能會用英語提問專業課的相關問題，所以你至少要掌握與你專業相關的一些英文詞彙，尤其是一些前沿方向的相關詞彙。
老師要求用英語回答一些專業課的知識，緊張忘記怎麼辦?
可以委婉的把話題引開。可以說謝謝老師的提問，這是一個很好的問題，正是因為有這些比較有趣的問題，我才決心報考這個專業。話題就轉為專業對你的吸引了。
老師用英文提的問題，聽不清楚怎麼辦?
聽不清楚，很簡單：「sorry，pardon?」。不要不好意思說這句話，只有正確聽明白問題，才能正確回答問題。

全國大學生英語競賽的證書，校級的，在復試中有用嗎?
可以寫在簡歷上，證書就不必帶去了，給老師們做個參考。復試還是主要看你的口語與初試成績。
四級沒過或者分數很低，會不會影響復試成績?
英語基礎不好，所以英語復試可能會有影響，但是最終還是得看綜合成績。
