2、用實物去創設情境。俗話說：「百聞不如一見」。小學三年級的同學正處於過度階段。因此，在英語教學中主要是讓學生多說、多練。每一件事都有一個度，每節課都在機械地重復練習，我們成年人都會厭煩的，更何況這么小小的孩子呢？動畫片為什麼會深受孩子們的喜愛？我想也就是這個原因吧！它能引起孩子們的興趣，由此我想到了通過具體表演和反復做游戲，就能極大地調動學生的積極性與學習熱情。比如，在教學「This is a…」這個句型時，我採用了「口袋游戲」，我們已經學習了關於文具的單詞，我就把「pen、 pencil 、ruler 、eraser、 book 」等裝進口袋裡，讓一個學生上台在口袋裡抓文具，然後給大家說「This is a…」，每個人都有參與的機會，這樣就調動了學生學習英語的積極性。
3、多用多媒體教學，創設交際的氛圍。在小學專業的英語老師不多，英語的發音多數都不標准，為了不影響下一代，利用多媒體資源，搜索下載課文對話的范讀，我們可以讓學生多聽聽標準的讀音，這對於學生來說是有百益而無一害，我們盡量利用多媒體來創設情境，這樣就會更生動、更形象、更逼真，讓學生有身臨其境的感覺，從而激發了學生的學習興趣。也可以把書本中的知識運用多媒體豐富多彩的文字、圖像、動畫、聲音等形式，直觀地呈現在學生面前。比如我在教學小動物時，我不但做了頭飾，同時我還利用多媒體製作了動畫效果的課件，有小動物的聲音，還有單詞的讀音，我讓同學們先聽聽是什麼小動物在叫，然後出示單詞，在出示讀音，一步步循序漸進，同學們越學越有興趣，這樣就達到了我預設的目標。
