除了以上在日常教學過程中進行的隨機評價外，學期末學生還要進行一次總評價，也就是對本學期所學知識的總測評。我借鑒了南海市桂城區教研室的探索經驗，學期口語水平測試按兩個程序進行：（1）小組協作對話和唱英文歌；（2）抽簽朗讀指定內容。測試前一天，四人小組的組長各抽簽確定話題，然後各小組利用一天的時間准備對話內容和相關道具。第二天進行口語水平測試時，教室就成了一個大舞台。全班學生圍成一個大圈，中間留出位置作為測試場地，各組按抽簽次序依次進行測試。各組派一名代表作為評委給各小組打分，最後教師綜合得出各人的成績。這種口語水平測試形式有效緩解了學生考試的壓力，深受學生歡迎。
以上是本人在教學中對口語評價進行的一些嘗試。實踐證明，這些測評方式不僅能夠真實反映學生的口語水平，而且能夠有效增強學生的學習積極性和創造性，從而最終促進學生語言的發展。
