進理發店之前，你最好有自己的想法，想清楚自己想要什麼效果。要知道，讓理發師拿你的頭發做實驗可是很危險的事情!弄不好你就會在照鏡子時發現另外一個人！
Barber: What can I do for you?
Ella: I'd like a haircut.
提示：理發的英語是haircut。進門後可以告訴Barber：I』d like a haircut，或者I want a haircut. 注意，這里的「a」一定不能丟哦！
Barber: How do you want it?
Ella: Just trim it a little. Don't cut it too short on the sides and I want it long in the front.
提示：理發師一般會徵求你本人的意見：How do you want it? （想剪成什麼樣的？）。這時你就把自己的想法告訴他。看來Ella只是想簡單修一下，而且旁邊和後面不要太短。
在表達自己想法時，你只需記住簡單的幾個詞就能輕松搞定理發師：
back 後面（in the back）
front 前面 （in the front）
sides 兩邊（on the sides）
top 頭頂（on the top）
看看Ella還有什麼要求：

提示：這下知道了，Ella還想把上面打薄一點點，後面不要動就好了！thin the top out a little就是說把上面打薄的意思，而leave the back as it is當然就是「後面保持原樣」嘍！
如果你細心，你會發現理發師在詢問的時候只是說How about on top? 並沒有說on the top.這里只是一個固定用法，記住就OK啦！不過，你在回答的時候還是要加上the 的哦！
