七年級英語教學特點
a good beginning is half done.初一是中學生的啟蒙階段,初一英語是英語教學的基礎.讓學生邁好英語學習的第一步，對他們今後學好英語至關重要。我在這幾個月的教學實踐中，總結了以下幾點經驗：
一、培養學生學英語的興趣，增強學生學好英語的自信心
1.強化學習英語動機，引導學生入門
學習動機是推動學生學習的內部驅動力。有動機的外語學習，學習效果好，而無動機的外語學習，學習往往成為一種負擔，學習效果不佳。初學英語的學生，對英語有著強烈的好奇心，教師要抓住這一特點，加以正確引導。幫助學生認識到英語學習的必要性和重要性，提高他們對英語學習價值的認識，真正意識到英語的工具性和交際性在今後學習、工作和生活中不可缺少的地位。明確了英語學習的重要性就會產生強烈的求知慾望，而有了信心和興趣，就會收到事半功倍的效果。
2.增強師生情感溝通，建立和諧的師生關系
親其師，才能信其道。教師要善於表達積極情感，多給學生動口的機會，多給予熱情鼓勵，引導他們在學習中發現問題、解決問題。在日常生活中要多與學生進行情感交流，教師一個默許的眼神、一句鼓勵的話語、一份由衷的贊許，都會使學生感覺到教師的關心、賞識和可敬。這些都促進學生積極的上進心，激發他們的求知慾，增加他們學習的勇氣和信心。達到以情促知、以情促教的目的。
3.營造輕松愉快的課堂氣氛，提高教學效果
孔子說：「知之者不如好之者，好之者不如樂之者。」因此在教學中，一定要根據學生的年齡特點，採用各種激趣方法，營造輕松愉快的課堂氣氛，促成學生的自主參與。
（1）直觀教學法。利用實物、圖片、簡筆畫、多媒體等教學手段，讓枯燥的英語單詞直觀形象化，吸引學生的「眼球」，抓住學生的興趣點和注意力，調動了學生積極思維，使學生愉快地掌握了所學的知識。
（2）情景教學法。根據教材內容，創設情景，採用對話、表演等形式，讓學生進行角色扮演。藉助類似模擬情景，把教材與實際生活聯系起來，讓學生感覺到學習英語的用處，增加了學生的求知慾望，促使他們積極地參與到課堂活動中來。
（3）愉快教學法。學生初學英語時，興趣很高，但維持不了多長時間。因此在教學過程中，力求寓教於樂，吸引學生。如在課堂上安排一些猜謎、唱歌、做游戲、搞競賽等活動。不但活躍了課堂氣氛，而且鞏固了所學的知識。
4.體驗成功，激起學習興趣
成功感是英語學習中非常寶貴的情感體驗，能極大地激起學生學習的興趣和熱情。教師應設法多給學生創造成功的機會,讓他們更多的品嘗到成功的喜悅。如學生回答對問題,好的考試成績等等,都可視為成功。應及時給予肯定和鼓勵：great / wonderful / well done /……即使學生回答錯了，教師要給予及時的幫助和鼓勵：try again / think it over……注意捕捉學生的點滴進步並及時給予表揚或獎勵，讓他們親身體驗到成功的喜悅，讓學生看到希望的曙光，不斷增強學習英語的信心。
二、從基礎知識入門，把握好英語的入門教學
1.語音教學
語音教學是初一英語教學重要和首要的任務之一，是入門階段教學的關鍵。通過音標教學，學生掌握正確發音，學會拼讀單詞，為以後的英語繼續學習和不斷發展打下堅實的基礎，掃平英語學習的最大障礙。筆者在音標教學中採用先集中後分散的教學原則，即在教完26個字母之後，集中教音標，再試教拼讀單詞。重點放在弄清字母、音素、音標之間的內在聯系，完成48個音素、音標及相應字母、字母組合的教學，結合教材生詞表上的單詞練習拼讀，使學生通過發音、拼讀、開口關，從而使他們具備拼讀單詞的能力，使學生的英語學習從一開始就進入積極主動的學習狀態。然後是分散教學，根據教材內容的安排，進一步鞏固前面所學的音標，從入門階段的字母、單詞、日常用語，到初級階段的課文、句子、對話，教師應隨著教材的變化，隨時把它們分散地教給學生，採取聽、模仿、講解、練習、校正等方式使學生隨時隨處感受到正確、規范的語音的影響和熏陶。
2.詞彙教學
詞彙是語言的基本材料，是語言的三大要素之一。因此記憶單詞是英語學習的重要環節，教師要根據學生的年齡教給他們便於記憶、鞏固的方法。如拼讀記憶法、歸類記憶法、對比記憶法、為了把好單詞關，更要及時地進行單詞聽寫檢測，做到單詞「課課清」，讓學生養成每天記單詞的習慣。學生積累了一定的詞彙量，就能為以後的聽說讀寫打下堅實的基礎。
三、營造良好的語言環境，培養學生英語的聽說能力
在英語技能中,聽說是讀寫的基礎,具備一定的聽說能力,才能促進讀寫能力的發展。因此從初一開始，英語教師應把握好課堂教學中聽說訓練的滲透與融入，設法給學生營造良好的語言環境，強化學生聽說英語的意識，讓他們在運用中不斷提高英語水平，在潛移默化中培養學生英語思維與表達的習慣，培養學生運用英語進行交際的能力。
1.用英語組織教學
大部分學生平時所聽、所說、所讀、所寫的全是漢語，缺少英語語言環境，通常只有在英語課上才能接觸英語。因此，教師在課堂上必須盡量用英語進行教學,創造濃厚的英語課堂氣氛，使學生自然而然的跟著教師的思路用英語去思維。這樣可以增強學生的求知慾，提高學生聽的能力，增強學生的語感.
2.free talk
通過每天free talk，給每個學生均等的機會來訓練口語，在這項訓練中，學生有權選擇自己感興趣的話題，並可以提前准備。課前由一名學生講三分鍾英語，內容可以是校園生活，英語學習，個人軼事，班級活動和小故事等。此項活動使學生們敢於開口講英語，增長見識和擴大了詞彙量。在這項活動的過程中，教師要起到引導、督促的作用，使學生的口語得到鍛煉。
3.role play
根據課文對話或短文的內容進行角色表演，鼓勵學生大膽開口說英語，進行真實、生動、有趣的模仿。把課文的語言材料轉化為流暢的英語口語，達到交際和運用語言的目的。
4.朗讀和背誦
教師利用早讀、課堂加強學生的朗讀、背誦。通過各種行之有效的方法，促使學生大聲朗讀，積極背誦範文，習慣用語和精彩語段。通過朗讀和背誦，讓學生積累一定的語言材料，形成語感，逐步培養學生使用語言的習慣，提高英語學習的信心和能力。
四、進行學法指導,培養自學能力
授人以魚,只飽一天,授人以漁,終生受益。在英語教學中,教師要有計劃、有系統地介紹英語學習的方法，培養學生的自學能力，只有學生學會學習,進而善於學習,才能發揮學生的積極性、創造性,才能提高學習效率。
1.課前預習：學習新的單元前，建議初一新生按以下步驟預習：首先，拼讀新單詞，大聲朗讀新單詞，然後聽錄音帶，大聲模仿跟讀，直到聽熟、會讀為止。
2.聽課：在課堂上，學生應做到「五動」，即動手、動眼、動口、動腦、動耳，其中關鍵的是動口。即：抓住機會積極答問，敢於在全班同學面前大聲背誦，敢於參加表演活動，不要怕犯錯誤。使學生逐步掌握這些方法,能自主地學習,從而提高學習效果。
總而言之，在學生學習英語的入門階段，作為英語教師，應根據學生特點，因材施教，著重培養學生學習英語的興趣，把知識點分散學習、教授，以學生為主體，教師適當啟發，點燃學生學習的熱情，發揮其自由想像和美好願望的空間，在通過語音關、詞彙關、句型關、課文關的過程中，感受學習的樂趣和運用、駕馭語言的成功感受，為今後的英語學習奠定良好的知識基礎和心理適應能力。
