例如：在教There be句型時，設計一個介紹動物園，「我是最佳小導游」的游戲。讓學生在愉快而輕松的氛圍中進行游戲。使學生在游戲情景中深入角色、踴躍表演；在玩中復習鞏固。這既符合孩子們樂於模仿與好玩的天性，又充分發揮了主觀能動性與創造性，還調節了學習節奏。在愉快歡樂的氣氛中，鞏固了學到的語言知識，鍛煉了運用語言的能力。
四、教唱英語歌曲、繞口令和小韻文，形成輕松的學習氛圍
多數小學英語學習的內容可以用歌曲、繞口令和小韻文的形式來表達，這有助於激發學生的興趣和分散課文的重點和難點。因此，在英語教學中融合音樂、繞口令、小韻文為一體，有助於學生理解對話，表現情景內容，創設有聲語言環境，使學生自然而全身心的投入學習中。
