Allison:Well， Yes. But there are many other places to visit nearby. For instance， you can take a boat trip to Chang to visit the island. You can also make a day tour to Penglai where the Eight immortals were said to have stayed and launched the trip across the sea.

公共英語4級口語考試形式及內容

口語考試時一般是兩個考內生為一組的，共有兩個主考官，一容個進行分數登記，一個與考生進行口試。進入口試時，先把登分卡有禮貌的遞給進行登分的主考官。共分三部分，第一部份是：考生A和考生B分別向主考官進行自我介紹或是考官詢問考生一些日常生活家庭事情，這一部份很簡單；第二部分是：主考官會拿出一張圖片讓兩個考生看，兩個考生隨後就圖片內容進行日常英語會話；第三部分是：主考官先拿出一張圖讓考生A看，隨後讓考生B看，然後考生A開始描述，描述完後考生B對考生A的描述進行補充，後再讓考生B先描述，考生A再補充。時間是十分鍾。

Last year, my neighbor, Xiao Wang and I went to the U.S. to travel. One day we were lost and it seemed we would never find our way back to our hotel. Suddenly an elderly lady came near us. Excited and trying to be polite, Xiao Wang approached her and asked, "Excuse me, how old are you?" This polite opening remark in Chinese culture made the lady stare at him in surprise, because age is a taboo in Western cultures. Seeing the embarrassment, I asked, "Beautiful weather, isn t it?" Of course the lady said "Yes" and happily told us the way to our hotel.

A lesson that can be drawn from the above example is obvious. Whether we know the local customs will play a crucial role in our relationship with others. More importantly, doing everything as the locals do will help us make more friends and avoid troubles. In addition,learning the local custom is also a way to understand the culture and history of the country.
Even though,at the beginning it will be a little difficult to accept the different custom.But it doesn't matter.Just do it and trying to be a Roman.If you try your best you will find that you can enjoy your new life in Rome.
