㈡ 淺談如何提高英語教師的口語水平
當前，英語教師的口語素養在英語教學的課堂上變得越來越重要。一位名師一開口，流利純正的英語，立刻能吸引聽課的每一位老師，反之，即使你的課上得再好，教學設計理念新穎，但教師的英語口語不純、不準，相信聽者都會在心底里為之推敲：這能不能算是一節好課。 英語教師的口語素養是教師的最基本素養之一，其口語水平的高低在很大程度上能影響所教學生的英語口語能力，常常走進教室聽學生集體朗讀的語音語調就能聽出是哪位老師所任教的學生，因此就更顯現出教師口語素養在教學過程中的重要性了。 但是，面對在校期間的現狀：早上幾乎每天都要進班早讀，平時要忙於備課、上課、反思、批改作業、輔導後進生等一系列教學工作，在上班時間內已很少能擠出時間學習英語口語。這就需要英語教師們擠時間，象擠海綿里的水一樣，讓每分每秒都能發揮它的功效。 譬如在學生讀書的時候，教師也可以和學生們一起，模仿教材配套錄音的語音語調；在學生完成聽力的時候，模仿聽力材料中人物的對話。只要做個有心人，身邊也能找到可學的素材。 當然，在學校里充電的時間是有限的，利用自己的業余時間，才能更好地、有系統性地進行口語訓練，准備一本教材、相關的語音材料以及制定相應的計劃並按照其嚴格執行，我想，這樣才能在循序漸進的過程中得到成長。 前幾年，每年暑假期間，學校都為英語組的教師提供平台，參加了市裡組織的英語口語培訓。在培訓過後的短期時間內，教師的口語水平也都得到了相應的提高，這得益於外教以及所給予的很好的英語語言學習環境。但同時也提醒我們：英語口語素養需要在不斷地學習中才會得以提高，否則將不進則退。
