Do you often stay up?
Staying up will rece your time for sleeping and result in inefficient rest and adjustment of brain and organs, which will cause severe harm to your health. Staying up the whole night will take as much energy as when you climb the mountain. The disorder of the nervous system, such as insomnia, absent-mind, irritation and anxiety will ensue, recing the attention, thinking, and mental ability. As for the skin, it will cause the water loss, wrinkles, gloomy skin, acnes, and black circles and have effect on eye sight as well.
My Dear Friend,Do you often stay up? What is the reason for that? What shall we do to return to the regular life?
Traveling can help you figure out what you want to do with your life:Exposing yourself to new places, people and cultures can awaken your sense of purpose. Learning about what's out there in the world can help you determine what feels like you - and what doesn't.
It's also especially useful in helping people realize that there's no one way to live a lifetime. Every culture is different and so is every person within those cultures. If you wait till later in life, you run the risk of realizing your potential too late. Don't let opportunity pass you by; explore the world while you're young.
It promotes independence (and hones survival skills):Catching flights, keeping track of passports and navigating foreign-speaking cities, can force you to think on your feet and make decisions quickly. Being away from your comfort zone really pushes a person to think independently.
It eliminates resentment later in life:How often do you hear someone much older than you comment on how they should have done something when they were younger? No one wants to be sitting in a rocking chair at age 80, wishing that they had taken that trip when they had the chance. Don't let someone or something stop you from traveling. A chance to experience the world now is greater than any excuse you can come up with for not going. It's worth it and you'll be glad you have those memories later in life, trust me!
Many families nowadays have only one child. Parents would like to provide them with the best conditions; the age of the children studying abroad consequently has become younger and younger. In order not to let them lose at the starting line, many parents then send their children to study abroad with the reasons that 「The child will then have the foreign nationality. They will enjoy the free ecation in the public primary school and choose to study abroad freely. It is much easier for them to apply for the world-known universities such as Harvard and the tuition is only one tenth of that when applying in China.」
The commuters today may have to take the vehicles almost everyday and they will come across with different people and things on the bus or subway. In some countries, there are even special carriages for young people, with the intention of providing them with more chances to know the opposite sex.
Man』s dearest possession is life. It is given to him but once, and he must live it so as to feel no torturing regrets for wasted years, never know the burning shame of a mean and petty past; so live that, dying, he might say: all my life, all my strength were given to the finest cause in all the world—the fight for the Liberation of Mankind.
Happiness lies not in the mere possession of money, it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative efforts, the joy and moral stimulation of work no longer must be forgotten in the mad chase of evanescent profits. These dark days, my friends, will be worth all they cost us, if they teach us that our true destiny is not to be ministered on to , but to minister to ourselves, to our fellow men.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed-we hold theses truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood. I have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. i have a dream today! When we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and hamlet, from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God』s children-black men and white men , jews and Gentiles, Catholics and Protestants-will be able to join hands and to sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, 「free at least ,free at last . Thank God Almighty, we are free at last.」
1Many years before the United States was founded(建立), Americans had already invented barbecues. But the first barbecues, in fact ,were the invention of the Taino Indians of Haiti, who dried their meat on raised frames(架子)of sticks over fires. Spanish explorers spelled the Taino word as barbacoa, and as time passed, English settlers along the Atlantic coat had their own barbecues.
One summer day in 1773, Benjamin Lynde, a citizen of Massachusetts, wrote in his diary, 「Fair and hot ; Browne;hack overset.」 That is , on a bright and hot day he went to the Brownes to attedn a barbecue, and his carriage(馬車)fell over. It shows that the barbecue had its social occasion by that time. Large animals would be roasted whole on frames over hot fires, and neighbours would be invited to dinner.
In later centuries, as settlers moved to the west, the barbecue went along with it, reaching an especially large size in Texas, where a pit (坑)for fuels(燃料) such as tree branches might be over ten feet deep. Today , the barbecue grills(燒烤架)which are fueled by charcoal(木炭) or electricity are likely to be small and easy to move , and can cook only parts of an animal at a time, but people still have barbecues out of doors and always invite their neighbours or friends over.
. 2Most English people have three names: a first name, a middle name and the family name. Their family name comes last. For example, my full name is Jim Allan Green. Green is my family name .My parents gave me both of my other names.
People don』t use their middle names very much. So 「John Henry Brown」 is usually called 「John Brown」. People never use Mr, Mrs or Miss before their first names. So you can say John Brown, or Mr Brown; but you should never say Mr John. They use Mr, Mrs or Miss with the family name but never with the first name.
Sometimes people ask me about my name. 「When you were born, why did your parents call you Jim?」 they ask.」 Why did they choose that name?」 The answer is they didn』t call Jim. They called me James. James was the name of my grandfather. In England, people usually call me Jim for short. That』s because it is shorter and easier than James.

Sleep is part of a person』s daily activity cycle. There are several different stages of sleep, and they too occur in cycles. If you are an average sleeper, your sleep cycle is as follows. When you first drift off into slumber, your eyes will roll about a bit, you temperature will drop slightly, your muscles will relax, and your breathing will slow and become quite regular. Your brain waves slow and become quite regular. Your brain waves slow down a bit too, with the alpha rhythm of rather fast waves for a few minutes. This is called stage 1 sleep.. For the next half hour or so, as you relax more and more, you will drift down through stage 2 and stage 3 sleep. The lower your stage of sleep. slower your brain waves will be. Then about 40 to 60 minutes after you lose consciousness you will have reached the deepest sleep of all. Your brain will show the large slow waves that are known as the delta rhythm. This is stage 4 sleep.
You do not remain at this deep fourth stage all night long, but instead about 80 minutes after you fall into slumber, your brain activity level will increase again slightly. The delta rhythm will disappear, to be replaced by the activity pattern of brain waves. Your eyes will begin to dart around under your closed eyelids as if you were looking at something occurring in front of you. This period of rapid eye movement lasts for some 8 to 15 minutes and is called REM sleep. It is ring REM sleep period, your body will soon relax again, your breathing will grow slow and regular once more. Your breathing will slip gently back from stage 1 to stage 4 sleep----only to rise once again to the surface of near consciousness some 80 minutes later.

Feel tired lately?Has a doctor said he can』t find anything wrong with you?Perhaps he sends you to a hospital, but all the advanced equipment there shows there is nothing wrong with you.
Then,consider this:you might be in a state of sub-health(亞健康).
Sub-health,also called the third state or gray state,is explained as borderline state between health and disease.
According to the investigation by the National Organization, over 45 percent of sub-health people are middle-aged or elderly. The percentage is even higher among people who work in management positions as well as students around exam-week. Symptoms(徵兆)include a lack of energy, depression, slow reactions, insomnia(失眠),agitation, and poor memory.Other symptoms include shortness of breath, sweating and aching in the waist and legs.
The key to preventing and recovering from sub-health,according to some medical experts,is to form good living habits, alternate work and rest, exercise regularly, and take part in open air activities.
As for meals, people are advised to eat less salt and sugar. They should also eat more fresh vegetables, fruits, fish because they are rich in nutritional elements—vitamins and trace elements(微量元素)—that are important to the body.
