The Farmer, His Horse, and His son
Once there was an old farmer, with a horse which was almost as old as himself.
He set out one morning with his son to sell the horse before it died. Father

一、說教學內容
本課的主要語言項目是學習表達某人喜歡什麼He/She likes______和一些相關的詞彙:music, science, sports, painting, computer game共5個詞彙。依據教學內容我從視、聽、說、讀和做的角度進行教學,將這5個詞彙通過整合串聯成為一體,使相互之間具有聯系性,使學生學得印象更為深刻。同時,結合「做一做,學一學」的思路,讓學生感受到英語學習的快樂。
二、說教學目標
新課程英語標准指出,基礎教育階段英語課程的總體目標是培養學生的綜合語言運用能力。而綜合語言運用能力又以學生語言技能、語言知識、情感態度、學習策略和文化意識五個方面的綜合素養為基礎。基於以上認識,對教學內容的分析與教材的特點,我將教學目標確定為:
1、知識目標:(1)學習表述愛好的詞彙:music, science, sports, painting, computer game;(2)表述第三人稱朋友的愛好,He/She likes ....教師要及時糾正學生的錯誤發音,like後的s 不要給學生講語法,但要讓學生注意這個詞的尾音的發音。

教法:為了順利完成教學目標,更好地突破重難點,按照學生的認識規律,我採用情景假設法、直觀演示法、交際法、游戲法相結合的方法。興趣是學生最好的老師,小學階段英語更注重趣味教學,在課堂上適當運用全身反應法、游戲法,激發學生學習英語的興趣,進而促使學生由興趣發展到培養學生學好英語的自信心。教師通過創設情景,好似乎把學生帶到了電腦面前,鼓勵學生多動腦、多開口,用英語表達自己所想到的。兒童的心理特點是活潑、好奇,同時又很好動,所以我把重點單詞和句型編成韻律詩,

六、說教學過程
合理安排教學程序是教學成功的關鍵,針對學生的認識狀況及本課教材的特點,我安排了以下幾個教學環節:
1、復習舊知,為新知教學鋪墊。導入過程復習了顏色,顏色的復習面向全體,讓學生在教學的起始階段都參與到了英語學習中,哪怕是後進生。顏色的復習自然地呈現出許多水彩筆,學生自然也會想到水彩筆可以用來paint,從面再教學painting就顯得比較順暢,學生的思維也是很流暢。
2、環環相扣,讓過程行雲流水。在painting的教學之後,提問學生「可以在哪裡進行painting」,學生會想到紙、牆壁等,引導學生將思路轉到computer上。以computer為情境,引導學生思考「電腦上除了painting還可以做什麼」?以此為思考點,引導學生想到play computer games、 listen to music和 make friends,如果學生想不到可以做動作給予學生提示。這樣的做法既教學了5個詞彙,同時也對Let』s do 中的片語進行了同步教學。以make friends為基點老師描述自己的朋友(體育老師),學生聽後進行猜測。因為是體育教師,所以問學生為什麼strong時,再做一個動作,學生自然而然就能把strong與Do sports聯系起來。在進行短暫的復習過程中,把science這個尚未新授的單詞直接引入進行教學。與此同時,請學生呈現science book、 Chinese book、 math book、 English book、 music book,並結合Unit 2 A Let』s do將新知融入這個Let』s do中進行聽指令做動作活動,將前後知有機地進行了整合。
3、有效活動,突破重難點教學。描述朋友愛好He/She likes ....中likes屬於動詞的第三人稱單數形式,在小學階段學生不需要知道這個形式稱為動詞第三人稱單數,學生在表述過程中絕不能把likes說成是like。為了讓學生掌握並理解一定的語法規則,我創編了一個chant: Painting,painting.I like painting. The secretary told me that Mr. Harmsworth would see me. I felt very nervous when I went into his office. He did not look up from his desk when I entered. 'Mr.Harmsworth,' I said in a weak voice.
'Don't interrupt,' he said.
Then he smiled and told me I would receive an extra thousand pounds a year!

Fishing is my favourite sport. I often fish for hours without catching anything. But this does not worry me. Some fishermen are unlucky. Instead of catching fish, they catch old boots and rubbish. I am even less lucky. I never catch anything -- not even old boots. After having spent whole mornings on the river, I always go home with an empty bag. 'You must give up fishing!' my friends say. 'It's a waste of time.' But they don't realize one important thing. I'm not really interested in fishing. I am only interested in sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all!
