漸漸地,我的視野開闊起來了,原來小溪帶著我匯入了一條大河。河水奔騰,岸邊出現了各種各樣的建築,聲音也變得嘈雜起來了。慢慢地,我覺得胸口堵得慌,呼吸也不順暢了。我往四周一看,呀,河水怎麼不知不覺地變得這么渾濁了?不僅如此,河水還變得那麼難聞,散發著莫名的怪味。小魚兒,小蝦兒這些水族居民也越來越少見,即使碰到一些,也是無精打采,甚至奄奄一息……這到底是怎麼了?
終於,我發現了其中的蹊蹺:在一個隱蔽的草叢中,有一股散發著惡臭的污水被排到了河裡,這些水一到河裡,便迅速散開,很快滲透到河體里,這時我的眼前一黑,呼吸立即受阻。我恍然大悟:原來,它們就是罪魁禍首!是它們,讓河水變得不再透明,是它們,讓小魚兒不再跳躍,是它們,讓小草不再調皮……我怒目而視,可是我看見的是它們的無辜和委屈:我們也不願意這樣!是人類,把我們害成這個樣子。兄弟,你不知道,我們出來的地方還有一個大煙囪,冒著漆黑滾燙的濃煙,直沖向藍天白雲,它們讓空氣中充滿了難聞的氣息,它們讓大地變得不再美麗。像我們這樣的受害者比比皆是呀……
