1、否定.當中需要注意的是否定詞not的否定范圍和帶有否定詞的肯定句.否定詞not的否定范圍是指,not和all,both,everyone,everything一起使用,通常不表示完全否定,而表示部分否定;表示完全否定要用no,neither(與both相對應),none,nothing,not...any等;主句中的否定詞有時否定主句,有時否定從句,判定這種否定,要依據上下文來理解;believe,expect,imagine,seem,suppose,think等動詞後帶賓語從句時,賓語從句的謂語否定詞not有時轉移到主句,例如He doesn't think Roger is fit for the job.(=He thinks Roger is not fit for the job)他認為羅傑不適合干那個工作.

提高學生英語閱讀理解能力一般有兩個途徑,一個是通過課堂閱讀教學,二是通過廣泛的課外閱讀活動。其實不然,「閱讀理解」題目只是一種量化標准和測試手段。由於受到提醒因素的多重製約,同時由於我們平時接觸到的閱讀理解題目中,有些題目本身就不夠科學和准確,存在這樣那樣的問題,以至對學生產生誤導。學生的思路受到題目狹小范圍的限制,常有「做錯題」的困擾,故而閱讀活動索然無味,也就失去了興趣。這種答題的過程往往是一種被動適應題型的活動,而不是真正意義上的閱讀活動。而且,一味地做閱讀理解題目,學生很容易形成一種思維定勢,認為閱讀的目的就是答對後面的題目。猶豫閱讀每篇文章都有不同的含義,不像語法有規則可循,所以學生在屢次受到打擊後,對閱讀理解題會有一種盲然不知所措的感覺。毫無自信地做閱讀理解題目,更不可能會有興趣去做大量的課外閱讀了,提高閱讀理解能力也成了空談。
那麼,提高英語聽說讀寫的重要性,還能通過自身的實踐,認真體會,積極思考和親身體驗,提高一定的語感,才能有效地提高聽說和閱讀理解能力。

This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city, Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.
While we were there, it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other.
