英語語法是針對英語語言的語法進行的研究。語法是組詞造句的規則,是把合適的詞放進合適位置的藝術,語法可分為兩大部分:詞法和句法。詞法包括各類詞的形態及其變化,句法主要講句子的種類和類型,句子成分以及遣詞造句的規律。
折疊一、一般現在時
1.概念:表示經常發生的情況;有規律出現的情況;總是發生的;和事實真理。
2.時間狀語:Always, usually, often, sometimes, every week (day, year, month…),once a week(day, year, month…),on Sundays(on Mondays …),
3.基本結構:①主語+動詞的單數第三人稱+其他【當主語是第三人稱單數(單三)時】
②主語+動詞原形+其他【當主語不是第三人稱單數(單三)時】
4.否定形式:主語 + am/is/are + not + 其他; 此時態的謂語動詞若為行為動詞,則在其前加don't,如主語為第三人稱單數,則用doesn't,同時還原行為動詞。
5.一般疑問句:把be動詞放於句首;用助動詞do提問,如主語為第三人稱單數,則用does,同時,還原行為動詞。
6.例句:It seldom snows here.這里很少下雪。
He is always ready to help others.他總是樂於幫助別人。

折疊二、一般過去時
1.概念:過去某個時間里發生的動作或狀態;過去習慣性、經常性的動作、行為。
2.時間狀語:ago, yesterday, the day before yesterday, last week, last(year, night, month…),in 1989,just now, at the age of 5,one day, long long ago, once upon a time, etc.
3.基本結構:主語 + 動詞的過去式或be的過去式+名詞
4.否定形式:主語 + was/were + not + 其他;在行為動詞前加didn't,同時還原行為動詞。
5.一般疑問句:was或were放於句首;用助動詞do的過去式did 提問,同時還原行為動詞。
6.例句:She often came to help us in those days.那些天她經常來幫助我們。

折疊三、一般將來時
1.概念:表示將要發生的動作或存在的狀態及打算、計劃或准備做某事。

4.否定形式:主語 + was/were + not + going to + do; 主語 + would/should + not + do.
5.一般疑問句:was或were放於句首;would/should 提到句首。

折疊六、過去進行時
1.概念:表示過去某段時間或某一時刻正在發生或進行的行為或動作。
2.時間狀語:at this time yesterday, at that time或以when引導的謂語動詞是一般過去時的時間狀語等。
3.基本結構 主語+was/were +doing +其它
4.否定形式:主語+was/were + not +doing+其它
5.一般疑問句:把was或were放於句首。(第一個字母大寫)
6.例句:At that time she was working in a PLA unit.那段時間她在人民解放軍部隊工作。

1.概念:表示將來某一時間正在進行的動作,或表示要在將來某一時間開始,並繼續下去的動作。常用來表示詢問、請求等。

3.基本結構:主語 + shall/will + be + 現在分詞 + 其它
4.否定形式:主語 + shall/will + not + be + 現在分詞 + 其它

折疊八、過去將來進行時
1.概念:表示就過去某一時間而言,將來某一時刻或某一段時間正在進行的動作,主要用於賓語從句中,尤其多用於間接引語中。
2.基本結構:should/would + be + 現在分詞
3.例句:They said they would be coming.他們說了他們將要來。
He said he could not come because he would be having a meeting.他說他不能來因為要開會。

1.概念:過去發生或已經完成的動作對現在造成的影響或結果,或從過去已經開始,持續到現在的動作或狀態。
2.時間狀語:yet, already ,just, never, ever, so far, by now, since + 時間點,for + 時間段,recently, lately, in the past few years, etc.
3.基本結構:主語 + have/has + p.p(過去分詞) + 其它
4.否定形式:主語 + have/has + not + p.p(過去分詞) + 其它
5.一般疑問句:have或has放句首。
6.例句:I've written an article.我已經寫了一篇論文。

2.基本結構:should/would have done sth.
3.例句:I thought you'd have left by this time.我想這會兒你已經走了。
He told them he would have finished it by 8 o'clock.他告訴他們他會在8點以前幹完。

1.概念:表示從過去某一時間開始一直延續到現在的動作。這一動作可能剛剛開始,也可能仍在繼續,並可能延續到將來。
2.基本結構:主語 + have/has + been + doing + 其它
3.時間狀語:since + 時間點,for + 時間段等。
4.例子:I have been sitting here for an hour.我已經在這里坐了一個小時。
The children have been watching TV since six o'clock.從6點起,孩子們一直看電視。

1.概念:表示某個正在進行的動作或狀態,持續到過去某個時刻,還未完成,一直持續到之後的當前才結束。

Had they been expecting the news for some time? 他們期待這個消息有一段時間了吧?
4.特殊含義:①尚未完成:He had been writing the novel.他已經在寫小說了。(他沒寫完)
②企圖:He had been studying the meaning of this proverb.他曾經學習過這個諺語。(他曾努力學習過它)
③未得結果:We had been studying what our enemy had said.我們一直致力於敵人所說的。(但是我們沒有理解)

1.概念:表示動作從某一時間開始一直延續到將來某一時間。是否繼續下去,要視上下文而定。

一、 被動語態的用法:
1. 一般現在時的被動語態構成:is / am / are + 及物動詞的過去分詞
Our classroom is cleaned every day. 我們教室每天都被打掃。
I am asked to study hard. 我被告知要努力學習。
Knives are used for cutting things. 刀是用來切東西的。
2. 一般過去時的被動語態構成:was / were + 及物動詞的過去分詞

3. 一般將來時的被動語態構成:will+ be + 及物動詞的過去分詞

8.將來完成時的被動語態構成:shall/will + have done

二、 怎樣把主動語態改成被動語態?
把主動語態改為被動語態非常簡單,可以遵循以下幾個步驟:
1. 先找出謂語動詞;
2. 再找出謂語動詞後的賓語;
3. 把賓語用作被動語態中的主語;
4. 注意人稱、時態和數的變化。
例:1. Bruce writes a letter every week. →A letter is written by Bruce every week. 布魯斯每星期寫一封信。
2. Li Lei mended the broken bike this morning. →The broken bike was mended by Li Lei this morning. 李雷今天上午在修理壞的自行車。
3. He has written two novels so far. →Two novels have been written by him so far. 至今他已寫了兩部小說。
4. They will plant ten trees tomorrow. →Ten trees will be planted by them tomorrow. 他們明天將要種植十棵樹。
5. Lucy is writing a letter now. →A letter is being written by Lucy now. 露西正在寫信。
6. You must lock the door when you leave. →the door must be locked when you leave. 當你離開的時候你必須把門鎖上。
三、 使用被動語態應注意的幾個問題:
1.不及物動詞無被動語態。
What will happen in 100 years?一百年裡會發生什麼事?
The dinosaurs disappeared about 65 million years ago. 約65萬年前恐龍滅絕。
2. 有些動詞用主動形式表示被動意義。
This pen writes well. 這支鋼筆很好寫。
This new book sells well. 這本新書賣的很好。
3. 感官動詞或使役動詞使用省略to的動詞不定式,主動語態中不帶to ,但變為被動語態時,須加上to。
例:Make somebody do something →somebody+ be +made to do something
See somebody do something →somebody +be +seen to do something
A girl saw my wallet drop when she passed by. →My wallet was seen to drop by a girl when she passed by. 一個女孩看到我的錢夾掉了,當她經過的時候。
The boss made the little boy do heavy work. →The little boy was made to do heavy work by the boss. 這個老闆讓這小男孩乾重活。
4. 如果是接雙賓語的動詞改為被動語態時,直接賓語(物)做主語,那麼動詞後要用介詞,這個介詞是由與其搭配的動詞決定。
He gave me a book. →A book was given to me by him. 他給了我一本書。
He showed me a ticket. →A ticket was shown to me by him. 他給我展示了一張票。
My father bought me a new bike. →A new bike was bought for me by my father. 我父親給我買了一輛新自行車。
5. 一些動詞短語用於被動語態時,動詞短語應當看作一個整體,而不能丟掉其中的介詞或副詞。
We can』t laugh at him. →He can』t be laugh at by us. 我們不能嘲笑他。
He listens to the radio every day. →The radio is listened to by him every day. 他每天都收聽廣播。
The nurse is taking care of the sick man. →The sick man is being taken care of by the nurse.這護士在照顧這個虛弱的男人。

謂語有復合復的情況。制我列舉一些例子吧。(來自網路)
第一種是由情態動詞或助動詞+不帶to的動詞不定式構成的復合謂語:
What does this word mean? 這個單詞是什麼意思?
I won』t do it again. 我不會再做它(指這件事it one more time")。
第二種是由連系動詞+表語構成的復合謂語。例如:
You look the same. 你們看起來很像.
We all go home ,我們回家吧。[=Let's go home]
從語法方面看。有簡單謂語和復合謂語。這個就是屬於復合謂語的。英語專業大一上期有一本語法書就講得很仔細。
J. 關於英語一些語法問題
語法系列復習專題九-----名詞從句、定語從句
名詞從句
名詞從句有四類:賓語從句、主語從句、表語從句、同位語從句。例如:
賓語從句:I don』t know where he will go.
主語從句:Where he will go is unknown.
表語從句:The problem is how we can get so much money.
同位語從句:We all feel sorry about the news that he failed in the game.
下面幾點是學習名詞從句要加以注意的:
1. whether和if都可以引導賓語從句表達「是否」意,(即引導賓語從句時if和whether
可以互換)但以下幾種名詞從句要用whether(不用if)引導:
(1) 引導主語從句,且在句首時。例:Whether he has won the tennis is not known.(但
It is not known whether/if he has won the tennis).
(2) 引導表語從句時。例The problem is whether he can get a job.
(3) 引導同位語從句時。例:I have no idea whether he will come.
(4) 介詞後的whether從句。例:I worry about whether I hurt her feelings.
2. 位於句首引導主語從句的that不可忘。
例如:That he got the first place in the competition surprised all of us.
3. 在「It is suggested/proposed/ordered/a pity/no wonder/necessary/strange/…+
that從句」結構中,that從句謂語有時用(should)do這樣的虛擬語氣形式。
例如:It is suggested that we(should) improve the relations between us.
It is a pity that one(should) stay in one place all one´s life.
It is strange that she should have failed to see her own shortcomings(缺點).
4. 在「The reason why…is that…」句式中that不要誤為because.
例如:The reason why he didn´t go to school yesterday is that he was ill.
5. 名詞從句中that,what用法比較:
引導名詞從句的that是連詞,在句中無成份,無意義,而what是連接代詞,what=the
thing(s) that.
例如:It was told in yesterday´s newspaper that what the students had done was praised
by the factory.
I know that he will study.
I know what he will study.
That he works hard at his lessons is known to us all.
What he works hard at is known to us all.
All I ask is that you should tell the truth./He is not what(=the person that)he
used to be.他和以前大不相同了。
6. where在名詞從句中的使用特點:
where在名詞從句中有時可以變為「the place where」,有時可以變為「介詞+the place where」 形式。例如:
主從:Where(=The place where)she has gone is still unknown.
賓從:Would you please tell me where(=the place where) Mr Smith lives?
表從:Your dictionary remains where(=in/at the place where)you put.
同位從:Have you any idea where(=of the place where) she is spending her holidays?
7. 無論是哪種名詞從句都是陳述語序。例如:
I know where he lives./Please tell me what her name is.
當一個特殊疑問句本身就是陳述語序(即「主+謂+(賓)」或「主+系+表」結構),將其變為間接引語(即賓語從句)時,無需改變語序。例如:
What´s the matter with him? She asked me what was the matter with him.
Who looks after your grandfather? He asked me who looked after my grandfather.
名詞從句考點分析
1.They want to know ______ do to help us. (NMET)
A. what they can B. how they can C. how can they D. what can they
析:此題要選陳述語序項,故應排除C、D。又因how they can do不完整,do後無賓
語,故也應排除,只有A項既是陳述語序,且what they can do完整正確地表達出「他
們能做些什麼」這一意思,故答案為A。
2.His teacher ______ he ______ bright and ______ he was worth teaching.
A.didn』t think;was;that B.thought;was;whether
C.didn』t think;was;× D.thought;wasn´t;×
析:觀察題目,可知think後跟有and連接的兩個並列賓語從句,這時前一個賓語從句
的引導語that可以省略,但引導後一賓語從句的that不可省略,據此,可排除C、D
兩個選項。若選B項,全句意思不通,而選擇A項可表達「他的老師認為他不聰明,不
值得教」這一意思,且語法結構無誤,故可定A是正確答案。
3.______ is done cannot be undone.

析:do一般作及物動詞使用,從題干看,需選一詞作主語(邏輯上是done的賓語)。
而A.How,D.Where均是副詞,不能作主語,故應排除。B項that一詞只能在定語從句
中作主語,不能在主語從句中作主語,也應排除。只有選what(=the thing that),才
能正確表述「凡是做的不可不做」這一意思。

定語從句
一、 定語從句與引導詞
定語從句是在復合句中修飾某一名詞或代詞的從句。被修飾的名詞或代詞叫做選行詞,
而引導定語從句的詞叫引導詞,有關系代詞和關系副詞兩類。
懂得什麼樣的先行詞後用什麼樣的引導詞是學好定語從句的關鍵。
1. 關系代詞有:that,which,who,whom,whose,在定語從句中作主語、賓語中表語,whose
作定語。代人的有:who,whom,whose,that;代物的有:that,which,whose.例如:
The man who helped you is Mr White.(who代人,在定語從句中作主語)
That is the person(whom/who/that) you want to see.(whom,who,that代人,在定
語從句中作賓語,可省略)
I´m not the fool(that) you thought me to be.(that代人,在定從中作表語)
A dictionary is a useful book which(=that) tells us the meaning of words(which
或that代物,在定從中作主語)
2. 關系副詞有:when(指時間),where(指地點),why(指原因),在定語從句中作狀語。
例如:Would you suggest a time(when) we can have a talk?(when可省略)
The house where they live is not very large./This is the reason why he did not came to the meeting.
注意:不是表時間的先行詞都用when引導定從,不是表地點的先行詞都用where引導定從。例如:We´ll visit the factory which(=that) makes radios.
(which或that在定從中作主語,where不可用主語,故不可用)
They still remember the happy days(which/that) they spent in Beidaihe.
(which或that在定從中作spent的賓語,when不可作賓語,故不可用)
二、限制性定語從句與非限制性定語從句
限制性定語從句和主句之間不用逗號分開,修飾主句中的某一個名詞或名詞片語或代
詞;非限制性定語從句常用逗號和主句隔開,可以修飾主句中的某一個詞,也可修飾整個句子。非限制性定語從句不能用that引導,引導非限制性定語從句的關系詞不能省略。非限制性定語從句例:Li Ping´s father, who works in a factory, is an engineer./He tore up my photo, which made me very angry.(which指代主句內容,因前後兩句是因果關系,此時which不可換為as。)
He is good at physics, as is known to us all.=As is known to us all, he is good at physics.(as指代主句內容,在as is known/believed, as we all know/believe這類結構中as不可換為which)
三、 只用that引導和不用that引導的場合
1. 只用that引導和不用that引導的場合
1) 當先行詞既包括人又包括物時:He talked about the men and the books that attracted
him.
2) 指物的先行詞被any, every, only, very, all, no等修飾時:These are the very points that interest me./That´s the only watch that I like most.
3) 指物的先行詞被序數詞或形容詞最高級修飾時:The first step that we are to take is very difficult./This is the second card that he gave me.
4) 先行詞是指物的不定代詞all,little,few,much,及everything,anything,nothing等時:There is still much that can be done about it./Have you got everything that you need?
5) 先行詞是who時:Who that have seen him does not like him?
2. 不用that的場合如下:
1)非限制性定語從句中 Last night ,I saw a very good film,which was about the Long
March .
2)介詞放在關系代詞之前時 This is the man from whom I learnt the news
3)句中出現了that,或先行詞是that時 I have found that which I was looking for.
四、「介詞+關系代詞」用法
1. 介詞的確定應依據定語從句中短語的習慣性搭配,例如:Who is the girl with whom you just shook hands?(shake hands with…是習慣性搭配)
2. 介詞常受先行詞的制約(即介詞和先行詞的搭配),例如:He built a telescope through which he could study the skies.(through which 即through the telescope)
3. 當關系代詞作「動詞+介詞」固定短語的賓語時,此時因定短語中的介詞不能拆開移到關系代詞前。例如:This is the watch which you´re looking for./He is a kind of man whom you can safely depend on.
五、幾個名詞後的引導詞
1. situation後常用where,in which引導定語從句:Can you imagine a situation where/in
which you can use the word?
2. way(方式,方法)後常用in which或that或how引導定語從句,也可省略:Do you know the way(in which/that/how) he worked out the problem?
3. 「the same+名詞」,「such+名詞」,「as+名詞」後通常用as引導定語從句。
例如:I have the same dictionary as you(have)./Such a book as you bought is not worth buying.
