看完了別人的煙火，我和弟弟也把自己的煙火拿出來放了！我拿出了「沖天炮」，點燃後，像流星般射了出去，後面還拖著長長的「尾巴」！五彩繽紛！弟弟拿出了「聖誕樹」，發出了強烈的火花！顏色各種個樣！像噴泉一樣，時高時矮，時亮時暗！火花從「天」而降，像無數條珍珠掛在天空！落下時像天上的銀河一樣！閃閃發光！還放了「雨花」就像仙女散花一樣，從空中落下來，時而「花」心中還綻開「小花」，如花蕊一般。還有的像「ufo」一樣閃過去，速度快的眼睛跟不上，有的像陀螺一般「瘋狂旋轉」……在夜幕中，家家戶戶的煙火就好象在比「美」，一家比一家壯觀，一家比一家希奇……終於放完了煙花，四周也靜下來了，看到這美麗的煙花，讓我想起了辛棄疾的《青玉案元夕》，眾里尋他千網路，驀然回首，那人卻在，火闌珊處。元宵晚會已經結束了，但那歡聲笑語，久久繚繞在我們窗前……

聽媽媽講，傳說在很久以前，世上風調雨順、五穀豐登，老百姓豐衣足食、安居樂業。突然災難降臨、城內洪水泛濫，城外田地乾旱，原來是王母娘娘請玉帝去赴宴，玉帝喝酒喝得酩酊大醉。宴會後餘地回宮辦事，於是把雨簿寫錯了，本應是城外雨五分，城內雨三分，玉帝給寫反了。青龍得知原因，便偷偷地里溜到天宮，改了雨簿，這樣世上又慢慢恢復了本來面目。玉帝酒醒後，也發現寫錯了雨簿，但本想改正，又怕重臣說自己做事不慎重，只好將錯就錯。後來玉帝發現自己的雨簿被改過，不由心中大怒，派丞相來到人間殺了青龍，丞相照做了。青龍被丞相殺了後，變成一隻神鳥，在玉帝殿外喊冤，玉帝心中感到慚愧，便下書要黃帝向百姓傳令，要紀念為民除害的青龍。每年春節，人們都要敲鑼打鼓，耍龍舞獅幾年青龍，慶祝元宵節。
元宵節的習俗是吃湯圓，讓每家團團圓圓，所以今晚媽媽"權力下放"，把煮湯圓的重要任務交給我來執行。我把它看成一件十分重大的任務，生怕煮破了，所以心裡好像揣著一隻小兔子"怦怦"直跳。我利用以前看媽媽煮湯圓的經驗，先把水燒開，把湯圓小心翼翼地放進去。我焦急地等待著，等待著……。白白胖胖的湯圓浮出水面，看著它們一個個膨脹，我興高采烈地喊道："湯圓要出鍋了。"我慶幸，還好湯圓沒煮破。大家高興地品嘗了我煮的湯圓，"美食家"媽媽給我打了一個一百分，誇我長大了，懂事了。我興奮不已，第一次煮湯圓就得到這么高的評價，我心裡美滋滋的。
晚上七點左右，我們全家一起下樓放焰火。正好碰上我的好朋友劉一凡，我倆一起去放焰火。我拿著一個最大的"金椰子"禮花，用香把禮花點著了，看見一朵朵美麗的"茶花"沖上天空綻放了，我和劉一凡拍手叫好。我又拿了一個超大型的"飛毛腿"，只見那好似流星劃過天際，放射出五彩光芒，飛遠了。接著又放了手搖花、花籃、降落傘……
最後我們全家津津有味地坐在沙發上看著元宵晚會，其樂融融的。
今天我學會了煮湯圓的常識，感受到了放焰火的快樂。我夢想每天都是元宵節那該多好啊！我期盼著明年的元宵節……

看完煙花，我們隨著人流開始觀花燈，街上的燈真多，使我目不暇接，有十二生宵燈、如來佛燈、觀音燈、豬八戒燈、米老鼠燈、臉譜燈、神六飛天燈、奧運福娃燈……加上霓虹燈，把整個臨澤城裝扮得更加美麗。2010年是虎年，花燈的主角是福娃和十二生肖中的虎，一個個金虎顯得神采奕奕，它那股勁真讓人好笑，它們好像在說：我老虎今天也該揚眉吐氣了！彩燈綻放著絢爛的色彩，好像在為國慶加油呢。最引人注目的是縣政府門前的兩條巨龍燈，它是那麼的雄偉壯觀，引來了無數攝影愛好者。

People usually hang lanterns in the gardens, outside the houses, and on the boats. These lanterns are signposts to guide guests and spirits of ancestors to the Lunar celebration. After a sumptuous fifteen-day feast, these lanterns light the way for the spirits back to the world beyond.
Silk, paper and plastic lanterns vary in shape and size and are usually multi-colored. Some are in the shapes of butterflies, birds, flowers, and boats. Other are shaped like dragon, fruit and animal symbols of that year. The most popular type of lantern is the "horse-racing" one, in which figures or animals rotate around the vertical axis of the lantern.
The special food for the Lantern Festival is Yuen Sin or Tong Yuen. These are round mplings made with sticky rice flour. They can be filled and served as a sweet snack or made plain and cooked in a soup with vegetables, meat and dried shrimp. The round shape of the mpling is a symbol of wholeness, completeness and unity.
The Lantern Festival is an occasion for families to get together and for everyone--young, old, rich and poor to have fun.
