我們每個人的心中，都曾經有過類似關愛別人這樣的經歷。例如給希望小學捐款、捐書啦，在公交車上給老人、孕婦、小朋友、殘疾人讓座啦，同學或者朋友住院了，常常去看望他們啦，這都是包含著愛心的行為。而這種愛心，在每個人的心裡都有。而我，就是在這顆愛心的促使下，到一所敬老院去看望老人。
在上個學期，我們和十幾個好朋友擬定了一個「到敬老院看望老人」的計劃，時間定在星期天。到了盼望已久的星期天，我們帶著已經准備好送給老人的水果、點心以及准備送給老人的禮物，就帶著滿懷的熱忱出發了。
當我們到達敬老院時，已經是兩點半了，為了不打攪老人們的休息時間，我們只好頂著烈日，在敬老院門口等了半個多小時，也就是三點多，老人們睡醒了，我們才輕手輕腳地從大門進去了。
當我們跨進敬老院的大廳時，老爺爺、老奶奶們已經在大廳里等候著我們了。他們早知道我們今天要來看望他們，所以早早地就興高采烈地在大廳里等著我們的光臨。當我們看見這些老爺爺、老奶奶時，有的比較健康，可是有的卻還有疾病、有殘疾，我一看到這個情景，心裡就一陣酸。我們紛紛把准備好的水果、點心和禮物拿出來，送到每個爺爺、奶奶手裡。看到他們拿到禮物樂呵呵的樣子，我們也非常開心。
接下來就到表演節目的時間了，我們每個人輪流表演了小品、相聲、唱歌、朗誦等節目，敬老院里的爺爺奶奶們看了我們的節目，樂開了懷。他們不但一邊看一邊笑，而且幾個平時不愛說話的老爺爺也開始來勁了，他們拿著麥克風，唱起了有濃郁民族氣息的家鄉歌、地方歌，雖然我們聽不懂，但還是可以看出他們很高興，很快樂。
我們還分了組和每個老人談心，我和曾威分一組，和一個八十八歲的老奶奶談心。從和她的談話中，我們了解到，她的兒子現在在外地，沒有時間來陪她，又不放心她，只好把這位老奶奶放到敬老院里來。而且我們還了解到，這位老奶奶和曾威竟然是同鄉、同村的老鄉！知道這是來自家鄉的朋友，老奶奶更是熱淚盈眶。我看到她那感動的表情，自己也有點感動了。
我們逐個探望完躺在病房裡的老人，已經快到五點了，我們也該回家了。雖然有點疲勞，但聽到敬老院里的阿姨們說老人們已經很久沒有這么高興過了，是我們使老爺爺、老奶奶們這么高興的。我們再怎麼疲勞、怎麼辛苦，也覺得是應該的。
在這次愛心行動中，我深深地體會到關愛的力量是那麼的偉大，它既可以使老人們感到快樂，同時也可以讓自己感到快樂。他能給老人家帶出一份關愛，使他們感到有人關心他們，更重要的是能讓他們感到溫暖，舒適和愛心。
